In the shadows of the far side of the room Vega was in, there was a vaguely familiar shape. A flash of light came out of the corner of the room, and then the shadow was gone. Footsteps could be heard upstairs, followed by sounds of a struggle, and then the undisguised sound of somebody being thrown out a window. Upstairs, the confused cybernetic man began digging through files. The light from the upstairs room poured down onto the vaguely shadowy corner thrugh the new hole in the floor. If vega wanted an escape route, he could take the hole in the floor/ceiling and follow the strange man.
