I knew from the start that today was a different day, something was different and I knew it was. The air seemed foggier than what it should be in this cold weather. The trees were deprieved of their leaves. Some lawns still had them laying on the ground, some were clean. I pulled my car into the nearest free parking spot. The engine came to a dim roar and finally stopped. Not many people were here. Lucky for me, the teachers wouldn't really notice me being a bit late.
