I must be making myself sound like some sort of a geek right now. Ah well. I am. I work in a bookstore. It's pretty much what I do. (Other than play the part of old women, insane birds-ladies and misbehaving fairies with my friend, Kale Allerion.)

I'm excited to move along from both of them to read the book 'Grendel', by John Gardiner, which is an existentialist novel about the life of the monstrous villain from Beowulf. I have a fascination with the subject because Grendel was a descendant of Cain, who's children is a key character in the subplot of a fantasy novel I've been working on. Gardner's writing has a nice, crunchy, sarcastic edge.

Ooh, that sounds cool! *adds to mental list of books to read*
I'm going to have to someday write down this list. It's getting too long to stay in my head. :P
