BIC: MariAnne cringed watching Kyra quickly and greedily draining this flamboyant stranger's blood. How much longer was she going to feed off her?
She felt her heart come alive again, rekindled by the same fury that had driven her to attempt rescuing the girl from the hands of the rogue vampire. This time, she would not be foolish, though.
A sword hand to the base of the head should do the trick, she thought, preparing herself mentally for her next move. Kyra will open her mouth long enough for me to pull the victim out of the way.
But then...she already wasn't on good terms with Kyra. Did she really want a nemesis?
Kyra continued swallowing huge gulps from the girl's veins.
Me and my stupid conscience, she thought, creeping through the shadows toward where the vampiress was. She snuck behind Kyra and brought a hand crashing down hard on the base of her head - three times, for good measure. Somehow she knew once wouldn't be enough to affect her.
