You get a bit of a smile out of him, and you see him relax his swordarm. "Yea, perks of the job. All I have to do is walk around with an angry expression and people will do almost anything to get out of my way." He seems to catch himself, realizing he has a job to do. "So, who are you anyways?"

He grinned.
"Feston Dradon, a Druid of Malar."

"Never heard of Malar, but I know a thing or two about druids..." you're not sure, but you don't think he has a fond outlook towards druids. The direct approach of soldiers never did lend itself to the mysterious ways of nature. "Either way, I'm of a mind that you should find something more out about this little - situation - that has been brough to my attention. It would be, how you say, influential towards the manner of greeting you get next time you decide to visit my city. There are those that reside here who do not consider your manner of transactions to be pleasant, and I'd kill most any man who interrupted me, even if they DID have something important to say..."
Nope, he doesn't like you.

"Well what do you know! So would I! Though I tend to give them a head start, killing straight out is so overated takes out half the effort. Hmmm but this situation... if you mean the ogers... didn't seem like something you should worry about the first time I heard something about it... however...."
A small smile while he stroked his chin.

He stands up impatiently. "You have one hour to leave my city. If you come here again you will be shot on sight unless youre dragging an ogres dead body up the tree behind you. Good day."
And with that, he walks back out the way he came.

Feston grinned to himself.
"Oh I doubt I will be returning here then. Afterall, everyone has thier limits, and I have gotten everything I needed."
Stands up and brushes himself off then returns the lamp oil back into its pocket. With that done he heads out the door and begins looking for the closest way down.

You hear the guy yelling at the squire as you head off across the nearest rope bridge . . . then the squire comes chasing after you, saying "Im supposed to escort you out of here, sir. This way."
Takes a few minutes, but yu return to the tree you came up by. The rope ladder is dropped, and you take your leave.
When you reach the bottom, you go looking for Strike, and have a pretty good guess where you can find him. You've been getting better at that lately, you know more and more precisely where he is even when you can't see him. Heading off in the direction you're sure to find him, you're shocked by what you see.
Strike is asleep in the middle of a clearing with a half dozen or so coyotes, one of which lifts its head and eyes you with curiousity.

Feston stops and raises an eyebrow and thinks to himself.
::Someone has been makeing friends in my absence? interesting..::
Feston desides to avoid startling the coyotes as of yet and squats down attempting to remain as unthreataning toward the one that had noticed him as posible.
::I probly could stake them down while they are still asleep, but what good is a kill if not precluded by the hunt? Expecialy if none are to observe it. Oh little good indeed. It may also do more harm then good if Strike has developed any attachment to them, may need his strength and thus his loyalty later if I am to continue with my plans. Besides, even if these small ones may lack the vigor and strength of a wolf, arn't we all still creatures of the hunt?::
He couldn't help but smile at his own inner monologe though he kept his lips together lest it be taken as a bareing of teeth and a challenge.

The one lifts his head, sniffing the air.
Apparently not concerned, he lays back down with a sigh, which is enough to wake Strike, who begins halfheartedly wagging his tail. With a look of where have you been he opens one eye and stares expectantly. A few of the others sort of half acknowledge your presence, and you're pretty sure they all know you're there.

Feston was still smiling to himself.
"We have a long journey ahead of us Strike, I've got everything I needed now *patting his backpack and standing up* So we best be on our way now. No use waisting what light we have left."
He does his best to judge the correct way toward the river(too lazy to remember actual name, was the viper or something like that) and motions for Strike to fallow him then starts on his way should the worg obey.
::With any luck his new fellows will fallow his lead...::
