((....ouchy.... and yeah.. lot of thought. its what i do. Really I can think of plenty of ways yo do it but the catch is doing it and bringing Strike along with me. I could try jumping it but that is a DC 20 with a running start. Not very fun, no. Ah if only I could borrow the jump check of another character of mine. Total plus of 48 XD and he's only character level 7 his race gives +30. Well I guess there is always the jump spell.. oh well. Might think more on it later... probly will have to rest anyways if I survive thsi battle.))
Feston grunts and tries to find the source of the attack while drawing out Fang. If he has the time to (that is if nothing jumps out to try bring more pain) he does his best to remove the spears before doing anything else.

Tearing the one loose from your leg, you bite down to keep from screaming. The other one fell out from its own weight, so no worries there. You feel the warm, gooey trickle down your leg and into your boot.
You see one, off to the left between you and Strike. You don't know what it was, you just saw the leaves swaying as its head popped out of view.

::So they like to hide eh? They arnt attacking yet.. maybe a trap? I'll just have to find them then... my way...::
"Strike, Stay!"
Feston plants the spear he just removed into the ground infront of him incase he desided to grab it again later and begins to cast Summon Nature's Ally I to summon an eagle in the treetops. ((Spontanious casting using up one of the slots I didnt fill out that you told me about afterword or useing up the create flame spell))

spontaneous casting is not allowed to you because (a) you don't have the feat and (b) it uses up a HIGHER slot . . . unless you mean the spontaneous casting of clerics who can drop any spell and cast a cure in its place. either way I don't care . . . in fact, with the way this game works I don't care what spells you've memorized, as long as you honor the spells per day.
*rolling: you don't get to know the details*
As you jab the three-foot spear into the ground, you see another one come flying from your right, ducking it. You know the spell worked, because there is now an eagle screeching at you from above. Two more come out of the underbrush, both missing so horridly you hope they hit each other instead of you.
Unfortunately, when you hear Strike yelp you know that they don't all close their eyes to throw. As you see one sticking out fromt he back of his neck, you know its not a good thing. [-8]

((OOC: I didn't mean a quick spell I mean spontanious casting, yes it is like the cleric ability only Druids dont get to heal that way, but instead they can replace a spell with a summon natures ally spell. Pritty sure it was that way in both 3rd and 3.5 ed. Mute point I guess but I thought I would point it out. ))
Momentary plans aside, Feston desides that its best to try and help Strike while he can. Moveing toward him he casts the best cure spell he can manage.

being the follower of an evil deity, the best healing spell you have is 'goodberry'. as luck would have it, one of the bushes right next to you has some berries on it. picking what you can, you let the power enter you, passing through your mortal self to imbue the berries with their power.
its only five berries, but it will have to do. Oh, and Strike shakes the offending spear free so you don't have to. Weathering another volley of spears, you protect Strike with your shield, one missile grazing your tricep (-1)
you: -7
strike: -3
four attackers: you better hope they run out of ammo soon.

Indeed.
Feston now does into the next part of his plan. Casting speak with animals to speak with the eagle, who he'll ask to relay to him a literal bird's eye view to help locate exactly where his enemy is hidden.

*rolling: minor success*
The eagle describes two opossums running off to the east. You don't think that's what they are, but it narrows it down to something small and cowardly.
There were two on the west side of the path, as well. You don't think you have to worry yourself too much, odds are they're running off anyways. The more important thing at this point is . . .
Strike sniffs at the spear that got him. You see his eyes turn an icy white - something you didn't believe possible. A deep, fiendish growl rolls across the forest, and you can hear all sorts of birds scared from their perches by it. His hackles go up, and thick, slimy drool drips from his bared fangs. Looking to you - almost through you - he seems ready to pounce on the first thing that moves. His fur is stretched taut across his muscles . . . and the fear washes over you as well.
Its moments like these you remember you're dealing with a wild animal, and their natural instincts might blind them to their usual habits.
THEIR BLOOD SHALL FLOW
You've never heard his voice before, and it takes a second in your state of panic to remember that you cast speak with animals. A surge of excitement flows over you, as he bolts into the underbrush. Its as if you see through three sets of eyes at once, the sensation dizzying and overwhelming; at the same time, it feels right, and you'd best to keep up with the eagle and the wolf.

Feston couldn't help but grin now. The tables were turning and by the eagle's description, the prey was running!
"Then the chase begins!"
Shiething Fang for now he grabed the spear that had droped out of Strike and fallowed after him he watched for thier prey and when he spoted one and had a clear shot he would return it's spear through the air, aiming for it's leg."
