She seemed to be soothed from his touch. Within the darkness Amora saw a flash of light and the pain ebbed. There was always a cost in taking another's curse onto yourself. It would seem her cost was pain. A pain that made one wish for a quick death. She opened her eyes once more and looked at him.
"I know you."
Her eyes were glazed with pain and fever.

Fenix nodded, "That you do m'lady." He continued to clean the blood from her skin. Checking the folded cloth he had placed on her forehead. He wrung the sweat from the cloth and dipped it back into the water. Placing it back on her forehead. If it hadn't been for Bisin when Fenix was in this state. The fever would have taken him for sure.

She reached up and touched his face, her touch gentle and hesitant.
"Did you come from the dark with me? How did we escape?"
She seemed confused, delirious from the fever.
"He will find us again you know? I can hear the chains."

Fenix smiled, "No one will find us. And if they do I'll protect you. Here, drink this." He reached for a different sachel of water and brought it to her lips. Ice cold water from the forest stream. Looking back at the entrance to the hut he whispered a word to the trees. The formed a solid chamber with only a small hole in the top for light.

She sipped the water and sighed as it cooled her throat. Her hand returned to his face and her eyebrows regarded him with confusion.
"I know you.....yet your name......it eludes me. Yet we know each other. Don't we?"

Fenix nodded, "We have known eachother for a short while. Perhaps we met in a previous life.. I am Fenix. A druid." He lowered the bag of water and finished cleaning the blood from her. Taking his cloak off he continued to tear it to shread and strips. Making bandages.

Her eyes started to drifted closed. A deep sleep claimed her void of dreams. Yet even in sleep there was an air of alertness to her, as if she didn't trust not to be attacked.

Fenix finished bandaging the wounds. Placing the sack of water next to Amora he stood and turned to the trees. They parted to let him through before closing back up. His next goal was food. And for that he would have to venture into the town and probably be thought a demon. But even that could be used to his advantage. He made his way through the wood and silently into the town. He approached a market and browsed over the available food, finding a few chunks of meat and bread he looked to the man in the market, "How much?"

Far away a man was heading straight for Amora. All of a sudden she had reappeared to him. The Sorceress was capable of blocking him from sensing her, she must be extremely weakened to not be able to. He smiled slowly. This time he would kill her instead of banishing her.

Fenix finished his transaction, surprisingly easy. The man looked scared, Fenix left him a couple gold pieces and left. Silently escaping the town just as he had gone in. Back to the forest and to the trees. Approaching the hut he waved his hand. They parted to let him enter once more, closing behind him. Kneeling he placed his hands over the meat. A short encantation and it was cooked. Placing the meat and the bread next to Amora. She would need it when she woke.
