The Dark Stranger

[Maliki]

Bengal placed his hands on Arianna. The boy turned and placed his palm on Bengals shoulder. Willing some of Bengals life to tie to Ari's. To keep her alive. While he did so he looked down to the book and began reciting an ancient chant. The pain that arianna was feeling was gone. Not gone, but she was masked from it. He began flipping through the pages of the book before stopping. "Encantra masief." As he spoke a magical barrier surrounded the castle. No outside magics could enter. "This will be a long proscess." He looked towards the nightbreed and said something intangible before turning back to Faith and Ryone, "If you require and refreshments. Just ask. They will take care of it for you."

[Diana]

Faith shook her head.
"We stay."

Ari's eyes stayed on the boy. She kept a crack in Budra's cage just in case, but her screams stopped. The fear was still there in her eyes. This was the place of her death and she didn't want to be here.

[Maliki]

The boy turned from Bengal and Arianna, reaching for something on the table. It was a knife. He put a small slice in his palm without even a wince. He turned back to them and placed his hand on Ari's chest. Death magic was his art. Therefore he could reverse it. But it would take a while indeed. He began pulling the magic first from her blood, allowing the circulation to kick back up. But this would take at least thirty or so minutes. Then there was the task of ridding her body of the spell.

Ryone nodded in agreement with Faith, "I still don't trust you."

[Diana]

Ari's hand moved so fast it was a blur. Her eyes switched from green to white as she snatched his wrist. Her strength was incredible, but then she wasn't drawing on the energy her magic alone bled into her. Her eyes pulled at the boy, forcing him into their stare. He'd lose himself in them, as Ari let Budra's power fill her. The energy she had began to lose was being replaced with Budra's life energy as well as the energy from the Earth and Bengal.

[Maliki]

The boy froze, he knew those eyes.. long ago before his sleep.. it was the creature that put him in his slumber, the chimera.. budra. "It... it can't be.. I watched you die."

Ryone unfolded his arms at the words, looking intently at the sceen. What the hell was going on.

[Diana]

"For some death is not permanent."
The voice was Ari's, but the power behind it was frightening.
"You will not perform death magic on us."

[Maliki]

The boy growled, "I was saving the girls life.. but if she has you she doesn't need me to.. Does she Budra?" He withdrew his hand from Ari and took a step back. Turning from them he left the room, heading towards his study.

Ryone blinked, "Budra?" Bengal shook his head, "The chimera of life. Its soul is sheltered within Arianna's body."

[Diana]

Ari looked at him.
"Why do you think we called him our opposite? Death magic must not be preformed on us."
Even as she spoke, the white faded to green as Budra receded. Ari once more looked it deep within. Ari blinked and looked for the boy. Not seeing him her fear of this place escalated.
"I want Mommy and Daddy Daerth."
They'd protect her. Even though like the boy they had abandoned her.

[Maliki]

He returned shortly, cloaked once more. Holding his hand out a rift opened in the room and Maliki came tumbling out. "Take her and leave this place." His words had suddenly became cold, almost heartless. "She is not allowed to return."

Maliki hit the floor with a thud infront of Ryone, standing up quickly, "What the hell was that all about?" He blinked and looked around. He had been frozen in time, unaware any time had passed, "We destroyed this place."

Ryone nodded, "He rebuilt it."

[Diana]

Ari closed her eyes and didn't look at them. Inside something in her shattered. Why did no one ever want her? She retreated inside herself. When her eyes opened again they no longer glowed. Bengal had seen the look in them before when she'd first awoken to find her parents gone. It had taken a long time to get her to even speak. Yet she'd come around was even happy most times. The life and joy had returned to her. It was gone now. When she spoke her voice was soft barely there.
"I don't need them to help me leave. All you had to do was ask."
She lifted her arms, a green glow surrounded her then she was gone. Before she left the boy sensed Budra locked again. She was no longer using his powers. When Ari opened her eyes she was in a meadow far from the castle and the protections that had stilled the death magic. The moment she had appeared outside them the magic came back with full force. She collapsed, screaming as pain once more consumed her.

Faith let out a startled cry. She closed her eyes and tried to follow, but couldn't. Then she went seeking outside her body, trying to find the child. Her eyes opened, and she looked at Ryone with worry.
"I can't find her."
