Default Rules

1) No god-moding, control posting, or whatever you want to call it. You cannot manipulate the actions of a character belonging to another player, or determine the outcome of your actions on other player characters without their permission. You may state what would happen if said action were successful

2a) While I will allow cursing in character please censor it. I understand that it may be how your character is, but this is a site open to any age. Keep it clean.

2b) There is no sex or related adult content allowed in this forum. If you wish to take it to that, please move to PM.

3) Keep all personal conflicts with other players out of the forum.

4) If a thread is closed or deleted by me, do not remake it or continue it elsewhere.

5) Any ruling Pin or I make is law. Do not try to contradict me. If you have any objections with sound reasoning you may PM Pin with them. DO NOT ARGUE WITH PIN OR ME IN THREAD. If you do your post will be deleted and ignored.

6) This is a work in progress, I reserve the right to alter established rules where I feel necessary.

As can be guessed FFXI does not translate well to text. Really its like taking a five pound bag of flour and trying to stuff it into a 1 pound jar. Because of this changes have to be made to the mechanics of it (though right now I really don't have any set up) and special rules need to be fallowed.

1) In the first post of any thread you enter, tell your current job (and subjob if unlocked).

2) Until a system for combat, hit points, and stats can be fully figured out, magic will not instantly hit. They won't always be exactly easy to dodge, but there are possibilities to do so.

3) Rather than use an experience system based on fights, levels will be given out as rewards for completed quests. (Some quests may give partial levels, others more than one level.)

4) Be creative. Due to the nature of an (almost) open system like this maneuvers that wouldn't be available in the standard game could be performed here. ((ex: Combat while riding a chocobo.))
