Casualties of Change: My post count

Sigh.

one day i'm siting pretty at nearly 1500, then next i'm down to 866. Not a new story, I've survived many site transfers and such, but its sort of sad that this time i probably took the biggest hit because the on-line gaming section got the biggest pruning (which is where 75% of my postings are). Now it DID need pruning, and i am fine with it, i knew it was coming and said my good-byes to space madness (the oldest of the on-line games) and prime ends and the others, still, its a little depressing that i just really fell below the pack in terms of postings. ah well, thus is the life.

I am not griping against the change. i welcome it, and hope it benefits us all, but there is definitely a sadness in my heart at losing half of my contributions to the site in one moment.

Sigh.

But, I will survive and i intend to keep (if not expand) maintaining the on-line games as much as possible. So if you're interested, head down to the live gaming section and join up!

On that note, it was not easy pruning half the site. However, just as Tarsha had to remind me, I wanted change and I need to accept change.

Larrin I will be glad and happy to expand your Online Gaming section. Where as I cannot bring back the original forums they can always be re-made. And once we get more traffic flowing on the site, and there becomes a call for it, I am totally open to expanding the site, in every way shape and form.

You guys bring me the posters, I will bring back and re-make as much as I can.

I know this is a BIG change, but I just need everyone to try and stay open-minded. DK, is continually working with the Admins. to better the site and there is definately a bright future ahead!

Oh I'm open minded and agree, I look forward to good changes. buts its just a little like moving to a brand new town with many exciting possibilites and a great new job....and then noticing the moving vans ran over your baby kitten you'd been trying despite a busy schedule to nuture along.....
