The Dark Side of Night

Azul did a quick one over before she sat down and whistled to himself. "You definitely follow in there footsteps." He smiled and rolled his eyes as she mentioned the girls with death glares which were directed to her now due to sitting next to Azul. "You'd think if a guy just says I'm going to break your heart soon when they know he's honest they'd listen. Seriously."

"Well, I guess they took a certain pirate to heart when he said, 'You can trust a dishonest person to be dishonest, it's the honest ones you have to look out for'." She shook her head, "They have no individuality or anything, how can they live with themselves!?" Maybe pointing her finger might bring about some fun...but she promised Alstarren to behave--at least for the first day.

"Oh I know. But that Johnny Deep I'd listen to anything he said." Azul made himself sound like one of the fan girls and he sounded quite accurate. "Little sisters." He said this as an explanation to having the voice down correctly. "I'm so totally straight."

Jazzmyne raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure about that? Can you prove it?" A smirk slide into place, smugly. She had learned some things from Pyr-a...and none of them good. As if a curtain had been cued, her hair tumbled out from behind her ear and blocked her face from his view. The bell rang, it was time for class to start.

"You just wait. One of these days I'll prove to you without using other girls." He smirked and pulled out the Latin book that he had swiped from Pyr-a at the end of her last year and had hid till he had entered this exact class. A book that Pyr-a had been searching for for years due to a secret spell allowing notes and such to be hidden in with only their group from Latin being able to access it. Jazz would know what it was but Azul just looked liek he had stolen the great book of Pyr-a and was trying to make a buck off of it even though he kept saying no deal it's worth more.

Jazz glanced around to see if anyone was watching him, or her for that matter, before aiming a kick at one of his legs. "Where did you get that?" She hissed at him under her breath. One of her eyes shone through the curtain of hair and it seemed to flash with urgency. That book was important, if any of the teachers found out what other things it could do...there would be trouble. She knew that a few of the staff at this school were in league with their enemy and they would find out too much if they discovered the book.

"My older sister Bridgette stole it from Pyr-a the day of her graduation." He smirked. Bridgette had fought pyr-a many times but only the people who saw knew it. And noone knew until now that Azul was her brother. He never fought he just healed people. They all knew he wasn't int eh family business. Or was he.

"B-Bridgette?" Jazz swallowed, she had gotten injured in a run-in with Bridgette. She had a scar that ran from her collar bone up and over her shoulder to the bottom of her shoulder blade. The scar was paling (since it was still new), and it was raised and hard to miss. Subconsciously her touched it through her shirt, but it seemed as if she was touching her heart instead. Only those who knew about it could tell. Azul would be the only one in the room who knew, since his sister bragged to him about it. She had received it near the beginning of that summer, and it was still a sharp memory.

Azul looked and shook his head. "Bridgette's been looking for this book since I stole it this summer. DO you know why?" He was speaking in a voice just barely able to be considered a whisper. He didn't want anyone over hearing let alone the teacher catching them talking before the first class.

"Yeah, I do." She turned and met his eyes when the teacher turned to the board to write something, "And I'm not telling you, until we're out of this place for the day at least. But on one condition."
