Azul smirked. "What is that? And shouldn't I be the one making the conditions? I'm holding the book."

[Caer Ibormeith]

"I'll tell you what I know, as long as you don't tell your sister anything, and I have possession of it, at least half of the time." She hoped he would agree, just seeing the book gave her the willies, but if she could return it to Pyr-a, it would be the best.

[Meline Kana Noriuma]

"I know damn well that if Pyr-a gets a hold of this book I won't ever see it again. You want the book back because it's so special for whatever reason you have to do something for me to get it. That's how it works." He eyes stopped being playful a seriousness that was strange for him took over. He knew well enough there was something special about this book but he didn't know what.

"Fine, forget the possession part, just swear--on your life-- that you won't tell your sister. I'll tell you everything if you keep it from your sister." Her voice was passionate to get her point across, and her words trembled slightly.

[Meline Kana Noriuma]

"Tell you what, you and I go to the club one night together and the book, as well as all it's secrets, will remain yours. Is that a fair trade? You dont' even have to dress up or dance just go and bowl with me and play arcade games for a couple hours."

"You're trading it...for a date?" Jazz was taken aback and almost shouted, but instead it came out quiet and strangled sounding. Her eyes were wide with shock, she looked away quickly, letting her hair cover up her blush. Why? Why am I blushing? What is wrong with me?

[Meline Kana Noriuma]

"Well the way I see it if I know the secrets that seem to got my sis' knickers in a twist then she'll try to pry them out of me or the one who told me. That puts you in more danger than living with her sworn enemies. So if I know nothing she thinks you know nothing about the book. We're both a little safer. Wouldn't you agree?"

"Fine, when?" She looked at the clock, minutes had rested in between their conversation so they wouldn't get caught, and the class was nearly over. I wonder what he's thinking...and what my next class is...

[Meline Kana Noriuma]

"Since it's Wednesday I say Friday. 8-o-clock sharp. Is it a deal?"

[Caer Ibormeith]

Jazz nodded, "It's a date." Her words were so soft they just barely reached his ears. Mr. Devis wrote the homework on the board and she took out a pen to write it on the back of her hand, since she hadn't gotten a planner just yet.
