The Dark Side of Night

[Meline Kana Noriuma]

"You didn't almost die Jazz. If you almost died you wouldn't be awake on the night of your birthday party. And you're not getting out of it. If I have to plan classes and teach and put up with Shi-keth tonight you can write five measly pages. It's double spaced."

"I love you. I have for I can't count the years and I will. Nothing you can do will ever change that. It's tried but it hasn't worked yet. I just didn't want to lose my temper or hurt you so-so I tooka break to clear my head. And the longer I stayed away the more it hurt."

[Caer Ibormeith]

"I-I love you too!" Circe hugged him tightly. She had been so afraid that it was her fault that they had separated. She trembled slightly, but didn't let go.

"Fine, it'll get done. When does my party start...?"

[Meline Kana Noriuma]

"Not for another couple hours." She sighed happily now. "Nap time." It was like she was reverting to a little kid. Yup it was the old Pyr-a again. A dork like none other.

Mikeeshiro hugged her tightly. "I know it's still going to be a little awkward for a while. Still working on reprogramming Shi-keth's mind but I won't leave. I promise. At least not without telling you first."

[Caer Ibormeith]

Circe nodded slowly, "Thanks, I better let you go take a shower, huh?" She remembered his offer to shower together and just barely kept a blush from spreading across her face like wild fire.

Alstarren poked Pyr-a's nose before settling down for a nap. Jazz felt very comfortable in between the two, but was slightly frustrated that they both navigated around telling her how she was saved.

Pyr-a knew her feelings of frustration and she knew Al did as well. "You're a part of the family. Don't expect special treatment. Not even on your birthday." Pyr-a giggled and poked Al's nose back and snuggled up to her friends. "You know, once Jazz is legal we could so sell stuff like this for big bucks. I mean people think we're hot don't they?"

Mikeeshiro saw the blush and smiled. "Took you that long to figure out what my offer meant huh? You can be dense sometimes."

[Caer Ibormeith]

"W-well, no. I just didn't think about it until now." Circe looked away, her now-shorter hair didn't quite cover her face, but the pixie cut looked cute on her.

Al considered, "But you're so old by the time it was legal for her you'd be wrinkly...and maybe you're boobs would sag. We'd have to have someone hold them up or use duct tape or something.

"Shut up, both of you, and take a nap!"

"I'd be like 25 you wench! And so would you! Our boobs would be prime perky!! Unless we pop out like 10 kids a piece." Pyr-a smiled knowing full well they were freaking Jazz out.

"Ah i see..You look good with short hair you know." He smiled as he pulled away to pull out clean clothes to wear.

[Caer Ibormeith]

"Thanks, I think." Circe watched him, not moving from her spot. She had an urge to follow him everywhere like a lost puppy, but suppressed it.

"Enough! I don't want to hear it, or even think about it! You're going to give me nightmares!" Jazz squealed.

[Meline Kana Noriuma]

"That's it!" Pyr-a pumped her free fist in the air. "That's why she turns down guys because she secretly wants both of us but has to wait so we don't get in trouble! That explains everything Al!!"

Mikeeshiro just locked eyes with her for a brief second. "I hope you don't' just plan on standing there all night or we'll never make it to Jazz's party."

[Caer Ibormeith]

"No! I have a date this Friday, remember?!" Jazz smacked Pyr-a, "And I want to go! I really do! Okay?!"

"I, uh...I-I'll leave then, so you can take a shower." Circe turned to leave.
