Lonely or chooses to be alone?

she winced a bit at the pain but for the most part it wasn't as bad as other wounds she'd gotten. she got a little goosebumps from him touching her even on the back. she just barely kept back a shiver trying not to screw it up. "That sucks about your slower time to heal." she turned her head to look back at him. "Thanks for this....see? you're not useless."

He smiled at her and gently turned her away from him. "Don't twist around like that." he held her by her shoulder with one hand and gently traced the tape around her wounds, making sure it would stay and nothing could get in to start an infection. "You'll open them up again and leave some pretty funky scars. It looks like lightening."

she turned back as he made her and smiled warmly. she was so confused of why she was acting this way and next thing she realized she put her hand on top of his on her shoulder. "Heh....not many really any i've taken care of really cared about what i did when it came to me being wounded. It's weird having someone care or at least seem to care what happens."

"Well, the way I see it, it's your fault. You cared about me first." He chuckled warmly and squeezed her shoulder gently. "And if you're going to be my ally in going against the Institute, I don't want you hurt any more than we have to...as in never, unless it's get hurt or die. I'd rather you get hurt." He leaned back against the tree slowly, his stomach hurting again. He kept his hand on her shoulder, enjoying the skin against skin contact. Being born and bred in the Institute, he didn't share touch very much and this feeling...it was nice.

"Yeah i guess it is my fault...hehheh." she looked at his hand underneath hers and let her hand slide down some so she could rest her head on his hand. she was going with what the animals said though it annoyed her so much. "I'd rather not get hurt period even if it was a choice between hurt or dead." she reached over with one hand to her bag feeling for the medicine she'd made. once she found it she took it out and held it in view for him. "Want to take some medicine? it'll help ease the pain...and probably heal you quicker where it has some drops of my blood in it."

"I can't hurt to try...can it?" He gently stroked his thumb against her cheek. This feeling, this warmth was so strange to him. He couldn't stop thinking about every part of him that was touching her. His hand...his leg...all of it was set so forward in his mind he was having a small trouble keeping the conversation going.

Syndil almost spaced out with his thumb rubbing her cheek but remembered and handed him the liquid medicine. "Perhaps i should move over to the side of you now so we can actually see each other while talking." she was feeling tired and needed to lean against the tree before she fell back against him.

"I drink this, right?" He took it and put it down next to him. He carefully picked her up slightly and gracefully moved over, setting her down beside him. "Does it taste weird? And just how much of it am I supposed to ingest?"

she was slightly surprised when he picked her up slightly and moved over to set her down next to him. she made sure not to let that part of her back touch the tree. she looked at him with that same smile that refused to leave her face when she saw him. "I made sure to leave it tasteless for the most part...and for those inuries i'd say a quarter of it." she yawned and leaned against him her head rested on his shoulder. "Wow i didn't think i was this tired...it's hard to realize it when you're on the go." her silver eyes glew warmly at the feel of him.

He rested his head on hers for a moment before opening the bottle and draining about a quarter of it like she said. He still made a face, "It feels...interesting on the way down." He cleared his throat, as if something had gotten stuck in it.
