Class is in Session

[Betsy Braddock]

Elizabeth was running. She couldn't be late. Miss Night was never happy when someone showed up late. Besides Elizabeth was never late not to mention she loved Miss Night's class. She lost herself in the stories and places. Her mind didn't seem to hear the thoughts of others. For the first time in her life Elizabeth knew the quiet of one's own thoughts. She also liked that for some reason she could shake hands with Miss Night and not be bombared by thoughts, emotions, and images. For someone like her the peace she found in that room was sanctuary. She would not be late and get locked out of the room. She had to be there.

[Cain]

Alphonces was just getting to class himself, he was still wearing his work cloathing from the video rental store he took a job at to help pay for college. It was only part time but money was money. He had started likeing night classes himself. Since his change it was getting harder to stay awake during the day and he had terrible insomnia at night. Go figure.

[Betsy Braddock]

She ran right into class and let out a deep sigh that she'd made it. She quickly moved to take a seat in the front row away from a lot of people. The further away from her classmates she was the better. She started shifting through her backpack. Her clothing made her stand out. After all it was summer and she was in a sweatshirt, black leather gloves, and blue jeans. Except for her face there wasn't an inch of skin showing. She put on her glass. She didn't need them but people tended to ignore nerds. Whipping out her spiral and a pen she sat to wait.

[Cain]

Al had chosen a seat closer to the window but still fairly close to the front. Someone in the back had apparently been smoking before he came into class. Al wanted to be as far from him as he could be, he hated smokers, they stank. Especialy to his nose.
He busied himself by getting out his pencil and paper.

[Jade]

As soon as she walked in she immediately commanded their attention. She wasn't tall maybe only 5'4" and her tawny yellow hair was long brushing her hips. Her eyes were a yellowish green that held a hint of amusement. But it was the outfit that had some of the boys in class whistling. She'd dressed in a short plaid mini skirt with a long sleeve white buttoned blouse that displayed her stomach. The black knee high boots added a few inches to her short stature. She smiled and jumped onto Miss Night's desk where she cross her legs.
"Heya kids. Name is Jade. Everyone calls me Kat. So you can call me Miss Kat. Now Miss Night had.....a family emergency....."
At this Jade smirked and those close could have sworn they heard her say, "Wish I could go behead someone and call it an emergency."
"Anyhow.....I'll be teaching class today. Now what period of history are we on? Renaissance? American Revolution? Ohhhh I know Salem Witch Trials. That's always fun. All that glorious killing and burning....."
She shivered.
"Simply delicious."

Betsy looked at Jade with something akin to panic. Who was this lady and where was Miss Night? Ohhh this couldn't be good. This could not be good.

[Cain]

Al raised an eyebrow. This lady was nuts. He wasn't sure he'd heard her right, but with his hearing he was better off then most in the class. Still he glanced over and spoted the worried looking Betsy, perhaps she had heard too?
He shook his head and looked at his pad of paper. What ever the case, this was going to be a very interesting lecture.

[Jade]

She blew a bubble with her gum and smiled.
"Come now let's not be shy. What period of history? I've done them all."
She frowned then murmured again.
"Been in most of them come to think of it."
She jumped off the desk and walked up the aisle of student desks.
"If someone doesn't tell me I'll pick a subject. It's sure to be nice and bloody and filled with wars."
If Al was watching her with his quick eyesight he'd notice her ever so often snatch something and hide it in the pockets of her skirt or put it on. A ring here, a watch there, she even stole a pen. Amazingly no one seemed to notice. The boys in the room were too preoccupied watching her walk and the girls were looking at their notebooks.

Betsy figured she'd better speak before the crazy lady messed up the schedule.
"We're on the Industrial Revolution ma'am."
Her voice was soft, barely above a whisper. She watched Kat then blinked. SUrely she hadn't seen her just take a pen.

[Cain]

:: . . . Great, not only is she apparently facinated with blood but she's a klepto too.. I wonder if the local mental ward is missing any one.::
Quietly he leaned down and ziped his back pack for safe measure and pushed it against the wall with his foot.
