Cold Sweat, New Moon

[DungeonMaster]

OOC I know it did. This is before he makes a real appearance... it's simply to establish when tatyana appeared.

Lying on the ground in what appeared to be a pile of broken arrows, was Tatyana. She lifted her head just enough to see the moon. "Ahh... so the moon is... Wait... where is my castle?" She asked into the empty streets. "Where is my beautiful village?" She began to cry, "What will i do now? My husband is dead and..."
The voice rang out again, the moan of agony... only this time, it was closer. She had to seek shelter. "that monster has killed him." She reached into her thigh sheaths and removed two beautiful daggers, "Father..." She said, kissing the blades at the crossguards, "It's time i put your wedding gift to good use." She started off at a run down the street to find shelter, leaving the pile of arrows, and a trail of half-bloodied footprints on the ground behind her. She had headed right for Kyra and Jade.

[Kyra]

Kyra formed from the mist infront of the woman. She arrived first.
"What are you running from?"
Kyra's voice was beautfiul. It had taken on the compulsive quality of her kind. Tatyana as a human would be unable to avoid the need to answer Kyra.

[Jade]

Jade arrived just as Kyra asked the question.
"You found her. Think we lost the ghost."

[DungeonMaster]

"A terrible beast!" She held up her daggers, "Please... you're like him... no..." She crossed the daggers in a defensive manner and tried to back away but found herself instead standing helpless where she was. "You don't understand... he's coming for me... he'll be here any second..." The moan came again, and in the alley behind her, a black silhouette moved through the alleyway.

The ghost rose out of the street, "It's Strahd... he's waited a long time to find you..." Tatyana shrieked and drove her dagger through the misted form, not hitting anything but a wall of ectoplasm. She feinted and the daggers remained interlaced in her fingers.

[Kyra]

Kyra moved so quickly she was a blur. She grabbed Tatyana and turned them both to mist. She took the woman away from the area. They reformed a few miles away.

[Jade]

"See this is why she won't like you. You're not even corporeal."
Shaking her head Jade went to investigate the other sound.

[DungeonMaster]

Tatyana remained still, twitching and occasionally shrieking, as if she was having terrible nightmares.

[Kyra]

Kyra placed her on the ground. She knew the woman was fine. She rifled through her thoughts to obtain her name.
"Tatyana can you hear me?"

[Jade]

"Ghosts....."
Shaking her head at the stupidity of them she approached the rubble.

[DungeonMaster]

Strahd came out of the Darkness and moaned again, "Tatyana!" He realized she was gone, and in a fit of rage, he took off into the night sky.

Tatyana opened her eyes a little and groaned. "Who... where am I?"
