Another monster on the street

[Cain]

"Billy... Biiiiiilly"
"Wh-who's there?"
"Oh, come now Billy, don't you know me by now?"
"D-dad said you arn't r-real!"
A chuckle came from the shadowed closet as a clawed hand reached out of the door and started opening it slowly.
"Oh Billy Billy Billy. He just doen't believe you is all. Grown ups can't see creatures like me... But when you're young and...suculent like yoooou.. It's snack time."Billy started to scream pulling his covers over his head at which the creature in the closet suddenly lept forward and out the open window, sprouting wings with which it glided to the ground below, changing into a human that looked like your average male. White, brown hear, 5'10", with brown eyes and unremarkable features. He smiled as he strolled on, pulling on his shirt and coat that were tied around his waist.
::Ah a child's terror, there's nothinging sweeter...and we have dessert!::
He prpduced a tootsiepop from his pocket, smiling at it. It had been Billy's but it wouldn't be missed. Jordan started to hum to himself as he turned out of the ally putting the sucker in his mouth and tossing the wrappers in a nearby garbage can.

[Cain]

::Hmm what to do now? Bars can be nice but at this time of night they can get crowded, thats never fun. Convienence stores are hit and miss. Aw what to do.::
He started walking down the street.
::If I could just find a random rube that would be great but you need to find just the right person. Takeing the bus is sometimes nice but you have to be careful on how you instigate things. It's best not to get thrown off that moving buffee stand.::
He sighed placeing his hands behind his head while continueing his walk.
::If I had the name of a person recently hurt I could visit them in the hospital. That can be fun too.::

[Jade]

Jade smiled as she knelt in the darkened alley. It was cold out, but she didn't feel the cold. Adrenaline coursed through her system as she looked at the lock she was picking. There was something about being a thief that made the cat in her purr. She wasn't one to suppress her animal like most. She reveled in it. Which would explain why she was out here in the dead of night about to break into a building. That and the fact that she was bored. Boredom was another reason she stole. There was no feeling like the feeling she got when she nabbed a beautiful piece of shiny that didn't belong to her. Carefully she pulled out her tools and went to work on the lock. Her were senses would alert her of any danger.

[Cain]

::The graveyard is wonderful this time of year but trafic there is so sl- hmm? Ah, joy yuck..wait do I note a hint of mischif? This could be promising afterall. Lets see where is it coming from?::
He stoped a moment turning his head from left and right.
::And its...this way.::
Smiling to himself his hair darkened and he quietly started heading for the the sorce of the emotions he was sencing.

[Jade]

She purred as she heard the click of the lock turning. Placing her tools back into her pouch she slowly inched the door open, listening for any whisper of sound. Tsking when there wasn't even the faint stirring of a guard she opened the door wide enough to slip inside. Quickly she turned to the keypad for the alarm and smiled as her eyes picked out the worn numbers of the code. She'd done her research, and her mind quickly picked on the only possibility. Using one's birth date for an alarm code was easy to remember, but stupid if a professional thief was breaking in. Shaking her head at the ease of the break-in she moved down the dimly lit hallway. She didn't bother with lights, her cat eyes could see easily in the dark. Quickly she headed for the main office and the safe.

In his head Jordan was humming the mission imposible theme. Then she picked the lock he pulled out his sucker.
::Oh, ew, ew, ew. Why must some people insist on being so happy. Ah well.::
He tossed it over his shoulder into a rubbish pile before continueing.
::Now then...hmm they are moving now. They were somewhere about, oooooh open door! Mischief, open door, dark building... do we have ourselves a robery? How delightful!::
He stuck his head in and glanced around.
::Oh dark dark dark. Eh what do we have here?::
"Eeeee! A toy! With buttons! Oh, too loud, oops."
::I could be naughty...::
He had a devilish grin as he raised up his hands fingers crawling in antisipation.

[Jade]

Jade whirled around at the sound of the voice. When she saw him she growled. The sound was that of a large animal. More than once just the sound alone had sent people running.

[Cain]

He paused a moment looking at the keypad
"Uh Ohhhhh.... I founded me an angry."
::An animal...that...isn't right is it? The door is open, likely lock picked, and the alarm isn't active. Another shape shifter? Right then hmm button button who's got the emergency call button.::
"I wonder if it likes pizza. Better buy it one too. Ummm this one."
He pressed the happy blue police emergency button.

[Jade]

"Damn it."
Jade cursed under her breath and moved quickly. She dashed past him glaring. Then smugly, she closed the door. It was one of those doors that locked automatically. She had left it partly open for that reason. Let the bastard explain what he was doing in there. She knew he couldn't have gotten a good look at her. It was too dark.

[Cain]

Jordan rattled the handle.
"Awww and here I was just starting to have fun. Hmmm... I could wait for the police. They're fun to mess with. Still... oh! Idea!"
If Jade was still near the door she would hear the ticking of the tumblers in the lock before there was the sound of the lock turning and the door opened. Jordan had a a large grin on his face as he stepped out then there was a click on the door shut again. Now Jordan frowned with a large pout as he held up his index finger.
"Awww, now I broke a nail! Well the boys in blue will have a hell of a time figuring that one out. Hmmm maybe I should go in to watch them. . ."
A closer look at his nail would reveal the end started to square off before the brake and had odd groves in it.
