Chaotic Tendancies May Follow

Three days into Autumn and her tan had completely faded intensifying the small glimmer of blue in her pale flesh complementing her black opalecent hair. A gust of wind blew through sending it's long layers about leaving only her eyes,her mouth an a few scattered pieces of skin to show through. In the setting sun she closely resembled an old Elfish Royal though,despite slightly pointed ears and jewlry(being pierced ears,a necklace and 6 rings) in such fashion, there was an obvious human air to cast shadows on the illusion..
As the sun fell further behind the hills she turned and walked in the opposite dirrection towards the outskirts of a forest she hoped held answers. Reachign the first tree she glanced behind to smile as darkness took over and returning her gaze forward promptly fell over her own feet. "Ouch!"

Al at that time was not far away, he'd recently had a rather eventful weekend and was heading back toward the city. Underone arm was a pillow and a folded up blanket. To think it had all started with that stupid nightmare and him burning his bed down... again...
Sighing at the thoughthe continued on nearing the forest edge. That's when he heard the thud. He narrowed his eyes as his hand went into his pocket pulling out the knife that was there, but not unfolding it. He lowered his body and moved quickly but made very little noice, finaly stoping behing a bush when he saw her.

::Its... just a girl... honestly Al, you're getting too paranoid.::

He stood a siluette in the trees, though his eyes caught the fading light and seemed to reflect it a with a golden hue despite his being in human form.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you it's not safe to wander around the woods alone at night?"

He returned the knife to his pocket

The girl jumped at hearing the sound,on her feet in less than the blink of an eye. She brushed some fallen leaves of her clothes and straightened ehr hair slightly. Again the wind blew messing up what she had just accomplished. SHe smiled mommentarily. "Yes, though I've never listened much. And I'm not wandering." This was not true but there was a certain charisma in her smirk that showed she held no fear. "And I didn't sense anything evil or harmful so i put down my weapons and went to feel the sunset." She gave a sad smile as she grabbed the lower branch of the tree she fell in front of and pulled herself up. After a heafty amount of leaves fell she almost gracefully landed on her knees back on the ground with a medium size bag,two swords, a bow and a quiver of delicate looking arrows held tight in ehr arms.
"Sorry if I disturbed you."

He watched her get up rambling on about not sencing any evil before she got he bow. Then he raised an eyebrow.

"You going to go hunt something or do you always go around like it's still the middle ages?"

::Just great, ever since I came to this bloody city it's been one odd ball or nut job after another.::

He condered her for a moment longer before adding something else. Something brought on by sudden urge. It was strange but it was there. He felt he should mess with her a bit.
"Did you know these woods are haunted?"

She got up not even bothering to rub her sore knees, put her swords through the back of her coressett(in their alloted places), attached her quiver to her bag, slung it over her shoulders and held the bow in her hands..."This..no...my father use to make these things...He quit his job a long time ago, don't really know why, but knew I fancied the stuff and made them for me as gifts..The swords when I turned 16 and the bow and arrows when i turned 18 a year ago...Plus my attire is suited for me going to unexpected places..I have this weird map that I can't quite make out that i assume will lead to more chaotic tendancies following me about..."
She tilted her head to the side and glanced into the forest.. "Really...DO you think I'll get to see any ghosts?"

::Aaaaand you just go walking around with those...::

He was a bit disapointed by her reaction to his comment on the forest being haunted but decided to continue on anyways. His inner trickster taking over.

"I doubte it.."

::I garantee it..::

"Especially not here, they say they only appear near certain areas. Areas where people have died here. "

::That burned area I smelled the smoke from the other day will do fine.::

"There is actualy a place pretty close to here. Stoies say people died in a forest fire there when their camp fire went out of control. Every few full moons they set a new fire burning the edge of the forest down again, and again..."

She looked up and sighed...."Oh...well in that case I'll have to pass...I like a good ghost tale but the horror of death is one I'm not to fond of really...Anyways nice to meet you." She smiled with a small wave and was about to head off when she stopped and turned to face Al once more..."Do you believe in magic or do you think it's just fairy tales?"

He frowned.

"Ahh..too bad. Well doesn't matter full moon was a few nights ago, probabl wouldn't see anything anyways."

She was heading off but stoped to ask him what he thought of magic. The inner him just burst out laughing while his face remained calm.

"Not sure, never seen the real thing before, if it exists."

::Aside from about a hundred examples since I got here.::

"Why do you ask?"

She smirked..."I dunnu...All the books I've read that are fantasy related describe things that I've started picking up on..Call me silly but I don't think it's normal for someone to see their skin glittering in blue in the light or being heavier set and walking like a feath floatin in the wind...An spontanious combustion..c'mon..I saw some random person do that a couple months back....if doctors can't describe it something has to..There is always a reason behind everything....even random flaming men..." She chuckled at how ridiculous she sounded to herself.."Again I apologize....I like to think to much these days."

He grinned now.

"Random flaming men?!? Honestly? Where did you see that?"

He started fallowing after her, heding into the forest with her. Who knows maybe he'd get to pull off his trick. Besides, if she'd seen him...
