Well ladies and gentleman, it's my supreme pleasure to become acquainted with the happy family of DKD. I've been role playing for about six years. I love modern fantasy and sci-fi, but I'll dabble in just about anything if it's well set up. I get insanely attached to my characters and I love to flesh out their background and where they come from; I don't idly create something.
I've been on one roleplay site for the last two years and I'm a little at a lost as to how to proceede here. I don't know how this is set up. What are the limitations? Is this all based in one world or can you post threads in entirely different settings?

I reach for bamboo skewers and point them at my temple hoping that it may relieve the building bomb within my head so I don't end up spilling the aggression into my everyday life. My favorite is when your computer gets this grand idea to just shut off in the middle of writing a paper and this beautiful grand scheme you have concocted is lost.... or when your dog eats your thumb drive! Ooops am I ranting?
Welcome Evangeline, I hope not to scare you. I am one of the eccentric few who frequent here on occasion. School has me all wrapped up in turmoil most of the time lately because its been 8 years since I have been in school... so ya know. Anyhow welcome!

Do not let her fool you with her crazy speak. If anything Chronica is one of the most sane on this site.
Welcome, it is good to have fresh meat...I mean new blood....huh more fodder...no, well you know what I mean. Im sure by now youve had a chance to look around the site. Each forum is set up differently and I believe some even allow you creative rights to start your own tale in your desired setting. Just watch out for the crazies...ever since they took down happydale there hasnt been anyone to keep them in their cages...

Do I need to post my characters for approval somewhere on the site before I start role playing? Also, is nit necessary to limit myself to one roleplay at a time, or can I post in multiple boards?
