Gazz in turn pulls his trunk back to the predetermined cover.
If there is any closer cover that will hid him and GAAZ Jr. he uses it otherwise if there is no good cover he moves up beside the cliff face but off to the side of the entrance by about 40 feet. If he finds cover he will ready a ventrilaquism spell, if not, an invisability spell.

Rhazar: You climb a tree for some height and start flapping and after a minute and a half of flapping/gliding you weave your way to the top off the cliff. You'd have to be blind not to realize the edge of the cliff has been worked on by someone with alot of skill. The cliff ledge was at one point a road way, carved to be a uniform width and smoothness. a wall about three feet high lines the edge of the cliff, carved from the rock... it would be a very safe road to travel on. Looking down you can see a vast spread of the cliff below you, its perfectly smooth....perfectly. only two blemishes mar the cliff side. One is the cave at the bottom and the other is the collapsed rubble of that is all that remains of the lair of the dragon that Kilgorn Sharl (read the first post) collapsed on himself and the dragon (its a mass of giant boulders, no way in there), otherwise the cliff base is marred only by the occasional bush or tree...but you don't think they're hiding anything. One thing you can see, but couldn't from the ground, is that the entire area from the monastary to the cave looks a little different from the rest of the landscape, like its sunken a little deeper into the ground. It appears to you that at one point the entire area was a lake, now dried up for at most 80 years, maybe less. you can't see any source for the lake to have come from, unless it flowed out of the cave....

Bleys: You prepare

Gaaz: no cover, you sit and think invisible thoughts

(((I could have sworn I replied to this one.)))

Rahzar lands on the road he finds at the top of the cliff and follows it upward, which ever slope looks to incline up if there is one. Once he finds what is at the top he may be able to locate a way down which wouold provide his land based comrads a means to make this the hike up the cliff with little difficulty.

Than they will be able to have a greater idea of what they are dealing with besides a nest of nasty little creatures. If he happens to hear/ see any commotion happening down below, Rahzar assists.

Rahzar: you walk and walk and walk...as far as you can tell the road makes a slow but steady up and around the mountain, you're actually getting pretty far away from the position above the cave mouth, and you can see that the road keeps going for miles ahead of you. If the road does go all the way to the top of the mountain (or near to it), you figure its easily a four to five day hike (if not a week) at the rate the road is going up at, you also figure that the base of the road going quite a long ways away from your ally's posistion since you didn't see it when you approached the monastary.

Not wanting to be too far gone from his party, or caught alone in an unknown area Rahzar leaps from the ledge and coasts down gliding back to the cavern mouth.

During his descent he calls out to his feathered friend Serah to keep watch in the sky incase anything appears without their seeing. Once landed Rahzar informs the others of the road above. How it leads towards the top of the mount and most likely starts at the other end of the base.

" It would be no surprise if it is an abandoned dwarven fortress, with this tunnel being part of a great water system."
