"Good, see? They shall honour the fallen." Möttul tries to seem pleasant, but not overly so in the face of all this carnage. "Max, let us see to your friends - mayhap one of you could point a priest back the way we came?" The second is directed towards the guards, and if they agree to it he will make sure Max is following and then go to arrange the bodies in an appropriate manner.
Assuming that nobody is pilfering the bodies when they arrive, it is a simple enough matter to organize them all (heads facing the same way, arms politely at their sides) and wait. If Max seems to have his wits about him Möttul will voice his concerns; if the man seems on the verge of collapse into hysteria, he will kneel politely and take a moment of silence for the End Which All Men Reach.

Mynic: (fortunately bad rolls are catching....) As you walk (and as your stalkers keep pace) you sense a mental presence on the wind and brace yourself just as a glamour bounces off your mental defenses, For a split moment you see an illusions attempting to convince you the road turns to the right, but its very poorly aimed. You suspect if the spell had hit you'd have wandered happily off the trail, never knowing what happened. You can peg the caster as the shape off to your left...
Mottul: You return to the square where you met Max. You enter the square just about the same time that three robed people with a cart are approaching the four bodies. (religion check:low) They have grey priest-like robes, and typically Priests of St. Misipi wear blue or white, but who knows what corpse duty priests wear. They are doing some chanting as they stack the bodies onto a cart, a cart that already has about 6 corpses in it. Your aren't out of the shadow of the alley yet, and you suspect they haven't seen you, thought they are relatively watchful and any further approach will be seen for sure.

Möttul hesitates, unsure how to approach this. If they are watchful, perhaps it is because of the horrific events of the night; not the first time people have balked at the sight of a battle. Holding a hand for silence, he leans as close as he can to Max, "Do you know these priests?" It is barely a whisper.
Two options present themselves - either walk in, greeting them amicably and offering help with the burden of the bodies in the honour of St Mispi (two more strong men can wheel the cart easily enough) . . . OR, stick to the shadows, follow them, and see what unfolds.
((OOC: My wife says burn the bodies because eww zombies))

So many choices...since Mynic can surmise these are deceitful beings he will play their game. From the glimpse of the failed vision he veers to the right as if nothing was wrong. After walking this way far enough away from the path he stops and looks about confused. The ploy is to have the concealed trio reveal themselves. If Mynic acts as if the spell wears off and he is lost, confused of how he strayed from the path, while fully aware of the surroundings, it may prompt the ambushers out without violence.
He stays ready to be jumped, just cause you never know. The first sign of a violent action gets a flaming dagger in its direction. Fire + Silver does damage to damn near anything.
Does Mynic know what all creatures/ classes use Glamour?

((I recall...falling in a pit with the three standing above...mynic taking 4 dmg.))
Mynic pulls a I came to work for you guys, take me to your leader act. If that failed he was going to turn into something they would consider "immortal".

Mottul: Max seems surprised that you give him the choice. "I...I don't want anything to happen to my friends bodies...they...they should receive their blessings" He stammers, obviously frightened by the implication that he'll have to fight to protect his friends bodies, but you also see him tightening his grip on his weapon and the slightest hint of a glint of determination in his eyes. "I'll do my best if you'll help me defend their resting in peace.
Mynic: The three fey look at you incredulously. "Really?!?" one of the spear bearers blurts, as if he can't fathom why anyone would want that. "Really?!!?."
They shuffle closer to each other and start quiet mumbling discussion while keeping an eye one you. They seem somewhat perplexed, but finally they shrug. "okay, we'll take you to see him." says the one with the one with the totemic staff says, with the tone of voice that implies he thinks you must not know what you're getting into. One of the spear wielders rolls his eyes and and mutters "mortals.." under his breath in feyish.

"On the count of three, young Warrior, we bring them honour. Stay close to me, but if they go to surround you do not panic, just slowly back away."
Möttul runs to the second closest one, assuming that if they are armed his armour will take the worst of it. Not sure if they will fight or break, he leads with a Passing Attack to get close quickly.
((Not exactly silent, but it's always worth a try))

Mynic climbs out of the pit and waits for the three to lead the way. He really doesnt know what he is getting into but figures whats the worst could be. if anything it may give him greater insight to what is going on in this land, and more knowledge he can use to manipulate the humans of Castle Grey. Mynic refrains from speaking any further, just giving varying looks by adjusting his eyebrows when/if spoken to. If they speak often enough then Mynic will begin to do random expressions similar one would do before a baby to either scare it or make it laugh.
