Karine walked in running a hand through her hair, "What?"
"Show him what you can do."
"Why?"
"Just do it, use the cup."
Karine sighed and
let her hand fall slowly in front of her and stopped when her palm was parallel to the floor. A soft crimson mist wrapped itself around the cup, before it disappeared and formed in Karine's out held hand.

If it was humanly possible Jack's chin would have hit the floor. "O . . .my . . .god . . ." He stood and went over to her and looked at her. I wonder if we are related some how? Like really distant cousins? Jack moved away and summoned the sup to his iown hand with his black summoning mist. "That's why she asked you to come in here." He looked at her, he was still amazed that he wasn't the only summoner left.

Karine blinked, "Wait...what?!" She walked over to Jack and poked him in the forehead. "How the hell...Who are you?"

"Jack Benjamin Carter. At your service" He bowed to be dramatic. "And if you don't know my family name then you don't know summoner families." He lifeted his head and rubbed it a little at the poke mark.

Karine smirked and offered her hand to shake. "Karine Victoria Carter."

Jack smiled and turned a little red, he looked at the hand and took it. "Sorry, I'm like the theatrics, sorry."

"I grew out of that," she shook his hand. "I was never any good in drama."
"So..." Lanni leaned on Karine, "How do you think you guys are related?"
"No clue, you have any idea Jack?" Karine shoved Lanni over toward the family room so she could check on Tyde.

"That is my dad's brother-in-law." Karine shrugged, "I guess we're cousins then."
Lanni refreshed the cloth on Tyde's forehead, making the girl stir. "Hey there, you feel okay?"
"Mmf..." Tyde opened her eyes slowly, lifting her hand to block out the bright sunlight. "W-where's Jack?"
