The Man Behind the Mask

OOC Okay, I think we're gonna be waiting for quite a while here... so who votes that we move on, and who votes that we wait?

OOC: Aye, onward to victory!

The man in the mask remains sitting on the ground, muttering about how hopeless the situation is and how they will never be able to find a sinless man to remove the mask. Then a whistling sound can be heard emitting from the helmet, and his body rises like a puppet from the ground. The srange, misty white light is filling the mask once more, and he draws out his daggers, trotting onward. "Shall we go, then?" Asked the goblin spirit with little regard for the answer.

[Jal-Koon]

Jal did a double-take and frowned as he watched the mask spirit start off. "Wait... the goblin thingy isn't going to be the one leading us is it?" A storm of worry began to form in his mind, but at this point there was really no other choice an he followed along with the masked man.

Charon whipped out his scimitar, spun it in his hand, and smiled. "The undead may not prove as much sport as I'd like, but they're something to kill." ~How right you are.~ Now that things were underway, Charon was awakening the fierce warrior that lay dorment for so long so as to avoid unwanted attention. Awaken, my friend. Arise from your slumber, and lay into our enemies with a savagery and ferocity only seen in the most deadly beasts. He slithered after his companions, staying behind them until summoned to the front. ~You keep them alive, and I'll work out the details of our betrayal.~

The goblin kept going, then he turned around and scratched his head, "Where are we going?" His voice sounded confused and frustrated, and he kept shaking his head periodically.

[Jal-Koon]

Jal threw his hands into the air. "Oh, wonderful. Is there any way to keep that little fiend in check for Mr. Dormaker?"

Charon frowned. "I think that depends: are we searching for your holy man or my lich?" ~That's the way to do it, just wander the planet until you finally get to wherever it is you're going.~ Charon glared down at the ring. "My ring does, unfortunately, prove a valid point. If we're going to go anywhere, we need to decide what we're doing before we get too far ahead."

[DungeonMaster]

"The Holy Man might prove to be a better start... that way you don't have to deal with me..." The mask hissed. It contacted the ring telepathically, ~Hey... if they do find somebody to get me off this fool's head, we need to both find our way to the lich. Maybe we'll end up working together after all is said and done here...~
