I opened my eyes and laughed as I felt each one differently. They seemed to be warmer than usual so the sun must have come up. But it was still raining so there was no way I was going in yet.

Melody wished she could hear his voice, just once. Rain had used his hands to deem her gorgeous, shouldn't she have a way to find out if his voice was as stunning as his looks? She sighed and shook her head. She wished that this moment could last longer, but the rain slowed as the sun rose higher.

"looks like my fun is over . . .until tomorrow." That was what was great about Seattle it rained a lot. I got up and headed to the cave knowing where it was this time. I hit something but it wasn't rock . . . it was human. I felt the face and knew. "O . . .Hey Melody what're you doing up?"

NOT SURE. This time she wrote it on his chest, it was closer to her at the moment. She blushed when she finished, he could feel her face get warmer and she looked down.

Melody nodded, YES. THE RAIN WAS BEAUTIFUL, IN SO MANY COLORS. I WISH I COULD HEAR IT. Her fingers had slowed as the sentence went on, showing her sadness and longing for her hearing. She knew it must be beautiful, it just had to be.

"I'll make a deal, I will tell you the sound as best I can if you tell me what it looked like?" I hope she says yes. If I am right she will . . .

Melody bounced up excitedly, nodding. She subdued herself when she realized her wouldn't see that and wrote on his chest, ALRIGHT.

I smiled and sat her down right there by the entrance and thought for a while. My words need to be perfect. " . . . Think of many light taps . . .like many things hitting something all at slightly different times. Then when it rains more . . . they increase in power and volume." the words sounded perfect. "You see . . . nature has it's own tune it's own . . ." I grinned more. " It's own melody, when all of these sounds are tapped when it rains. Everything blends in to be one big musical. You get what I'm saying.?"

Melody shook her head. WHAT ARE TAPS? She spelled, I'VE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING MY ENTIRE LIFE. I'M SURE YOU'VE SEEN BEFORE? I'LL NEVER HEAR ANYTHING, I DON'T KNOW MANY WORDS THAT HAVE TO DO WITH SOUND BECAUSE I'LL NEVER EXPERIENCE THEM...SORRY.
