Meline, who never even noticed before, looked at his right arm as she was walking, making sure not to stare to heavily os as not to trip up. She'd glance around and look at people, knowing that none paid he rmuch mind, and had her eyes wander back to his arm fiolled with curiousity.

[Cain]

With closer examination of his arm she could make out the runes enscribed on the wrapings that covered it. They appeared to be some sort of containment or supresant spell. Should she examin his left arm she would see similar runes, but they were a mere mimicery of the runes on the right wrapping. Should she watch the right wrapings longer she would notice a very faint glow about them that seemed to pulse with a rythem like a slow heart beat.
He moved to the edge of town to a small hous, about the size of a two car garage. He took out a key unlocking the door and went in. Motioning for her to fallow.
The inside seemed to have an upper loft with what looked like a set of small nests, a bed in the courner, a small wood stove, then over half of the building looked built for starage. One wall looked like a series of heavy doored cabnets, the other two were covered with shelves. There was also a large shelving unit in the middle of that half of the one room building. These shelves contained what looked like all kinds of parts belonging to dragons, such as bones and scales, as well as tools in many shapes and forms.
"Ummm sorry that there isn't much room to make yourself comfertable, I'm renting out the larger house while I'm away and not using it...along with the stables."

"Ah, I see...Well that makes......sense I guess?" She rolled her eyes around to get a better glance at her surroundings and took note of little things. Slowly she approached the shelves and put her hands behind her back to admire the things on it without touching anything. Knowing her she'd break soemthing.

[Cain]

The bones that were on the shelfs looked fairly old and dried. Near them were several large scales, apparently from dragons as near them were also several smaller scales, kept together like shed skins. In a corner near the cabnets (and farthest from the stove) were several jars of a brownish-yellow, clear liquid. A lable by one indicating they were fire brewer's oil. Near these there was a section that seemed to be dried and preserved foods. Fallowed by tools for all manners of things. Chance was instructing the dragons with tasks, sending Sky and Gleem for water, while sending tourch for wood. He then started removing his traveling gear and placing it by the foot of his bed. He then opened two of he cabnets to reveil tey were a sort of fridge by the cold air that came out. The courners inside were lined by a blue glowing stone. He occupied himself by looking at the list and moving jars from one cabnet to another, empty one. A jar that seemed to contain a set of eyes, another with what looked like a large heart, then several that held what looked like blood. Closing the cabnets again he took a bag from the side of one cabnet and started gathering a few items. What looked like fangs or claws, various bones that shouldn't have fit in the bag but did, as well as a few of the scales and some of the oil.

Meline looked over to him and raised an eyebrow. "Is that for your own personal pleasure or is that actually stuff that Joe wanted?" She was sure she already knew tha answer but she could not refrain from asking anyways. JOe was indeed a strange man. And slightly warped.

[Cain]

He frowned at her.
"Its for Joe, I wouldn't keep these things around for pleasure. Scales, oil, and blood can all be harvested from the dragons when they are alive without harming them, but bone and organ we only take after they have died, either naturaly, from disease, or fighting amongst themselves. Its not a thing that happens often even in the smaller species. Though when it does, we seperate thier bodies as per a pact that was made by one of my ancestors. *He touched his arm though didn't seem to notice he did it* then its young are adopted by members of the village. Usually in the end the only parts of the dragons we keep are scales from the last surviving parent made into vest like this. *He indicated his vest.* The rest are sold to support the next generation."
He put the bag in the icebox where he was placing the other items.

"True true. Just asking a dumb question is all. Excuse me." She nodded her head and sighed slihgtly as she rubbed a lightly burnt arm to gt the black off it. "How much does this stuff cost?" She was curious and had never thought to ask how much stuff he needed took in money or in trades or anything at all. She just kenw she picked it up and sometimes brought it all back.

[Cain]

He considered.
"Well...the prices varey from item to item. For example an organ like a heart or fire lung will sell several times its price in platinum, while claws we usualy sell for a few copper for the smaller ones. Larger ones are more expensive since its so hard to trim them. Takes a dimond hacksaw and a willing dragon."
He said it with a wry smile.

Meline thougt about this. "Wow. I'm so glad he pays for this stuff than I do."

[Cain]

Chance noded.
"He does receive a small discount of course. My family has done buisness with his clan for many generations now. Ever since one of them and my ancestor defeated and sealed away the shadow dragon."
He rubed his right shoulder as he spoke about it.
