Silent Walls

[Gemma Ward]

(ooc: This is taking place in a random part of troll spit that changes to suit the needs at the time. In this case we have an old hallway in an old house or castle...)

The hallway was silent. The darkness overwhelming. The walls were dimly lit with a candles along the walls. Most had melted out and the few remaining were struggling to stay alive against a cold draft during the late hour. At the end of the hall was a large stained glass window, illuminated by the full moon glowing outside in the cold winter night. Most of the doors in the hallway were locked tight, but a few remained open.

A silhouette stood in front of the window. It was clearly a woman, her dress floating against the breeze. Her 5'6" frame stood tall and proud, and her long hair hung in ribbon high on her head. Two curls fell to frame her face. She was as silent as the hallway and could have been easily been mistaken as a statue if not for her steady breathing.

[Cain]

There was the almost unaudible sound of a door opening and closing.
*....*
*creep creep creep*
*creep creep creep*
In the shadows something moved, quickly in a pounce.
"Yes! None can compaire with the speed of twitch! Not even quick, sneeky sneek mou-ack! Ah ah!"
Two thuds were heard disturbing the stillness further.
"Bad, mousie! No biting of Twitch! . . . Mousie?. . .Oh no...I broke him..."
With that the new silluette in the hallway left a small object in front of one of the doors and continued on.
Even in the shadows the definate feline shape to his head was as apparent as the way his eyes would catch light and reflect it out. However, he did not wander the halls on all fours but walked upright as a man, a strikeing 6'1".

The woman turned her head toward the figure. She had not expected any company tonight. She quickly slipped something into the bodice of her dress and began the assess the man. She didn't know what to make of the ears. She had never come across someone so catlike, yet still very human like. She turned her entire body to face him.

"Hello?" She asked, unsure if she should approach the man.

[Cain]

"Zaa? Oh! Ho Ho Ho! You have caught me! Or not!"
He then moved very suddenly from where he was to right infront of her.
"Hello! Hi! Hi and Hello! I am Twitch, who are you? It is a nice night no? Shhhh you should be of the quiet. Peoples be sleeping...I think. I never understand that myself. Why would you want to just close your eyes and be quiet and all unmoving for hours on end? Theres no fun in that! And so much could be done! Oh all the stuff that can be done! Oh! But you must be quiet still, oh yes, otherwise peoples get angry and grumpy. Oh so snappy snappy! Thats not fun either."
Though it is stating the obvious, it should be said, Twitch was not good at being quiet at times.

Gemma stood there blinking, still unsure of how to respond. This man was full of energy, that's the only thing she knew for certain. She decided to make the best of it.

"Hello," she said again, "I'm Gemma Ward. Why might you be here at such a late hour?"

[Cain]

In a moment he had her hand and was shaking it vigorously.
"Ah hellos and greetings to the Gemma Ward!"
He glanced about.
"Why do you ask why am I here? Should I be someplace else? I do have a very very short memory for that sort of thing you know..."

[Gemma Ward]

"No reason really. I just didn't expect anyone to be here tonight." She replied.

Her plans would have to wait.

[Cain]

"Oooooh...ok."
Awkward silence.
"Soooo..what brings you here? How yeh been? Who does your hair?"

[Gemma Ward]

"I've been well." She replied purposefully ignoring the first question and hoping that the catlike man would overlook the detail. "Life has dealt me a fair hand thus far and I can only hope that it stays that way."

Her eyes scanned the hallway as she continued answering his questions, "I did my own hair. I'm rather happy with the result."

[Cain]

"Oh yes, it is very nice. I do mine myself as well!"
With her eyes ajusted to the dim light as they likely were now, she could make out his features more easily now. His coloration was very much like that of a cheetah if she had ever seen one before. He did seem to have human like hair, Mostly shoulder length though in the back it was longer. His spots provided it with a sort of striped look. Though it hung down it also llooked a bit windswept. Cloathingwise he seemed to only be wearing very loose legged pants and a vest, though around his midsection he had wrapped a chain.

Speaking again of eyes. He had noticed hers wandinging about.
"What is it? Is someone there?"
He turned looking behind and shading his eyes with his hand.
"Hmmm nope... pitty..."
