Lying Eyes

She looked puzzled for a moment as she collected her thoughts.

"Child where have you come from..and why are you here?"

*Pause*

"The story had been buried for nearly a century now, it was to stay that way until one came singing songs of old...."

"I'm a wanderer. I came from the north and ended up here when the story called to me." Gemma answered, "I have no home and no reason for being here. I wasn't planning on even stopping, there is no shelter for me to stay in and if it wasn't for the song I would have already been on my way."

[Cain]

Al said nothing as the two talked and listened half heartedly. As usual, over his normal cloathing he wore a cloak that had been badly died then bleached to give it a blotchy look, but that look provided exelent camoflauge.
Rolling up it's sleeve and pulling back loose fabric he placed his hand into the stack of wood he made and there was a light in it that fallowed with steam and smoke before the wood caught flame. Rolling down his sleve again he sat on the trunk of the fallen tree.

It was as Gemma said those words that she noticed the true innocence in her being. The song called to her so she must be the one...

"Where are you from? And how is it your gift works?"

[Gemma Ward]

"I'm from a small village somewhere north of here. It's called Adamia( pronounced: ah-dom-ia). I'm from there but it's not home." She replied. She hated the place. Her parents had sent her away from there when she was just past the age of 20.

"As for my gift, I don't really know how to explain it. The stories come to me. They aren't my own memories, but I can tell them as if they are. They tug at my mind and roll off my tongue, but I can never call a story, it must call me."

Al placed his hand into the fire again. This time pullung out a flame covering his hand, though it lifted of to float between both of his hands. He continued to sit in silence as the flame compressed into a small shere, this turned into a four sided pyramid, then a three sided one, then a cube, finaly a sphere before repeating the patern again.

Catalina knew of one with a similar gift. She was surprised she could not reach out to a story...a past event. Almost in a way that only certain stories are deemed for her.

"WHere is your home...surely you were trained I am guessing."

"I wasn't trained at my home. My parents....I... I ran away when I was younger. I met a man who belonged to a traveling group of gypsies called the Amor. They helped me discover and hone my talent."

Sphere, pyrimad, pyramid, cube, sphere, pyrimad, pyramid, cube...
The pattern shifted from one shape to another slowly but steadily.
...sphere, pyrimad, pyramid, cube, sphere, pyrimad, pyramid, cube...
Al said nothing.

With the Amor mentioned Catalina took a step back she got this stricken look on her face. For a time ago she had seen many visions of the Amor, what they were meant to do. For the first time in over a decade Catalina was split from her twin brother for he was now with the Amor.

She knew she had been called here...but why would the prophets bring an Amor here....

SHe turned to the man then back to Gemma. SHe was not sure if she should stay. It seemed somehting was off...not right, and out of place
