I knew from the start that today was a different day, something was different and I knew it was. The air seemed foggier than what it should be in this cold weather. The trees were deprieved of their leaves. Some lawns still had them laying on the ground, some were clean. I pulled my car into the nearest free parking spot. The engine came to a dim roar and finally stopped. Not many people were here. Lucky for me, the teachers wouldn't really notice me being a bit late. I walked to the front of the school, and to my surprize, they opened automatically...

I saw her coming towards me so I had gone inside ahead of her to open them for her. "Where I come from this is customary so get used to it." I winked and let her pass. The tugging feeling from behind me told me my time was slowly etching closer to when I'd have to leave. Wish I could figure out how to stay, it'd make my job easier. . .

"Not only is it there, but it is so here." I winked back at him, "But I'm not one to be doing that for, okay? So get used to that." I know people can't see him, and that will make this day odd when people look at me talking to "air".

I sighed and just walked beside her and avoided people from bumping into me expertly. The pull became a little stronger and I knew I would have to levae soon. "SO. . .During your lunch I'll be gone for about five minutes so don't worry about it. Just thought I'd let you know." I gave a smile but I know it didn't reach far, barely there on my mouth as it was.
When I did smile I bumped into someone so i gave him a oush into the lockers. He looked about like an idiot before continuing on his way.

"Okay, but where are you going?" I looked over at him only to see him hit a kid and put him in the lookers. "Hey! What did you do that for?!" I yelled, and then the kid in the locker just gave me a look of insanity. "Uh, not you. Hehe...He..." I gotta stop talking all together....

I didn't notice her talking. I was to busy trying to look in the crowd for possible people who might see me. Though not likely but still could happen and I had always been taught any chance for it to go wrong is to much.

My hand flew up in a flash and I caught her wrist as she went to strike me again. "Don't don that. I can hear you. Just trying to see if there is something out there." I pointed my chin to the hallway. "It's not safe here, but safer than most places at least."

"What do you mean?" I looked at a crowd of preps giving me the glare that they always do everyday. "School is... well- school. Just another place for people like me to get stared at in hemiliation"
I shook my head and closed me eyes. I must just be in another one of my dreams... "Either way, I have AP Art, comin?" I pointed inside the room beside us.

"But if he can enter your dreams through your destiny then if anyone else here may have one then he may take it and use them to hurt you. But I must leave for a bit, I need to set something in motion. . .five minutes maybe at most. Good luck." and I vanished into my room at dusk.
