[Black Wings]

"Adam, why don't you explain, I'm gonna go for a walk, I need some air. I'll be right back." I kissed his cheek, waved to lyall and walked away. I only walked about a mile into the woods and sat down, leaning against a tree stump, fermly placed into the ground, like it was still growing, even having only roots and a foot left of the tree.

[Apollo]

"Different one she is." He said, jamming his thumb Jesse's way.
" 'Cause she's pregnant with my kid where we're both virgins, I think, and she is not just a vampire." I told in one breath.
"Damn, that's a mouthful. . . Swap spit and blood did you?" I nod, surely looking panicy. "Say hello to something our kind, and mabe hers, called an abomination." He pronounces the syllables slowly.
"So you've seen. . ."
He shook his head. "Heard of, never seen. It's a conception of love among soulmates, it's what happened with Mary to have Jesus. So really it was Her Joe's lil guy."
I thought about it. "Emaculate conception?"
"Exactly. . . never thoought I'd see one between two beings like this. Vamp and human and you somethin' like a succubus. Werewolf and human equals Wolfman and/or 'Lycan'. You with me?"
"And us two?"
"Hybrid of the world's greatest predator." He anounced.

I tilted my head back. My eyes were closed, my breath solid and straight. A drop of wettness fell on my face, sliddingdown my face. It stopped. I pressed my hand against my skin and peeled something off my face. Ice. My face froze the rain. I was only a light sprinkle, but felt nice. More drops landed on my face. I tilted it back down, the rest of the rain staying clung to my hair, reminding me of the song "Drops of Jupitar in her hair".

[Apollo]

"But what does that mean?" I asked him.
"Could be the best qualities of the beast or of a vampire, could have both, could have none. Basic genetics dude." For once I was upset with Lyall I pushed him up against a tree, using my forearm while my right pounded the tree trunk once.
"I don't give a damn! Now focus!" I yell at him, breathing hard. Hit him! Hit him!The voice says, I crack my neck trying to relax. He sees it.
"Adam calm down. Whatevah that voice is saying you need to not do it. You think you're messed up now, listening to him makes it worse. Don't beomce the animal, control it."
"Where's. . ." The voice knows what I am going to do. It makes it hard to speak or anything.
"Go get her?" He asked. I could only nod. "Lemme go man and I'm there." I do and he goes flying off toward her.

The ice, crystalizing on my skin doesn't even feel cold, but warm rather. I layed down on the ground, stretching my body, feeling every pebble under me, feeling every root that was in the ground. I felt so sensitive, but relaxed, felt so tensed, but well, so quiet yet loud. All feeling were mixed, every since, turned and intertwined in my bones. Everying turned black in my eyes, I couldn't see, I didn't want to move, my body wouldn't let me anyhow, it was rather nice and my body felt limp, but finally getting rest.
The blackness took over everything of me...

[Apollo]

I struggled to stay in control of the anger the Voice had. To keep it from taking over me. I watched as Lyall came with Jesse over his shoulder. I could tell something was wrong with her. My nails dug into the bark. Get her while she's down, end her feelings of misery! Never! I shouted back at It. He opened his wrist to feed her and let her drink. Maybe he'll die from blood loss! Why won't you shut up? I asked it. I'm your anger now!

[Black Wings]

I felt like I was light, weightless and free. I felt like I was free. I'm a bird, I'm in the sky, I am... My body shook a little, then stayed still again, I felt more shaking, but couldn't telling if it was me or not. Who is shaking, who is cold? Who isn't free...

[Apollo]

I watched Lyall fall over from loss of blood, but he would be ok. I reached Jesse's hand, squeezed and got out one garbled word the anger couldn't stop. "Jesse." Next it cut off my air and I started to choke.

I couldn't move, I didn't feel alive. The ice on my face and hands finally felt cold to me, I finally felt something. I didn't even feel real....
