I stayed still, from what I knew, feeling cloldness, feeling warm, feeling safe, but in harm's way. Where am I? I thought to myself, forgetting everything... My mind was going blank, my head felt like it was being erased... Where am I? Every memory ever held was slipping away from my grasp. I always felt lost in my life, but this was a whole new kind of lost...

I sat crossed legged across from Lyall, his wrists still scarred from him saving Jesse's life. "Jus' gotta breathe" he said to me. Last I had checked. she was still out. But I try to focus.
I feel the trees around me again, like I wasn't. . . different. See I'm a werewolf. . . but not just a werewolf; I am what's called a Lycan which is an outcast, for whatever reason. Mine is that I fell in love and told my secret, to not just any one but the ones my family hate most. Vampires.
"I can feel them again." I smile. I was slowly learning to control the anger of the other side of me, the side that takes over during the full moon. "The trees, the grass a little bit."
"Shhh. . .jus' breathe now."
I do and it expands.
Quiet.
Yes! It's just me in my head today. Wait till I tell Jesse, I think to myself.

I can't hear, where is the sound? I squirm in my mind. Hello? I call out. No reply. Where is everybody? I am so... alone... The blackness is as thick as fog. My skin seems to crawl with an uncertain motion.

I felt so close and then the next thing I know is anger. "And" I say, letting it out slowly. "It's gone."
I'm back! the voice laughed.
" Again?" Lyall asked. I nodded.
Ever since the second moon had shown itself for the month he showed himself and now is my anger. I'm like the hulk if he was a werwolf. I stand and help Lyall to do the same. "I'm gonna go check on Jesse." I tell him. He rolled his eyes, since I did it every time I had two seconds.
"Go on love sick puppy." He punched my arm lightly.
II go over and she still had those darting eyes, as if she were in rem sleep. Like she's dreaming. I smiled and stroked her cheek with the back of my hand.

I felt like I was running. A body formed in my mind, my body. A cool breeze passed over my face, twirling and spinning my hair into little knots. My heart, still, was just a lump in my body, never beating, never loud behind my ears. Adam came out from behind the tree, holding something in his arms. I slowed my pace as I got near.
"Jess," He spoke my name. "Look at her, she's beautiful..."
He handed the bundle of blanket to me. I held it in my arms, caring for it, not letting it drop.
"Go on," He spoke again, eager this time. "Look a her."
"Her," I glanced at him then back at the blanket. I pulled part of the end away from her face. A bloody baby layed in my arms, screaming, lips pulled back over long shape teeth. A growl escaped her mouth, her hands failing and nails scratching my very arms that held her.
"Isn't she beautiful, Jess?" Adam smiled.
I screamed...

I twirled her hair in my hands but something went wrong. She started to squirm and screamed. "Jess it's ok!" I said. I took a small knife out of my pocket I kept and opened my own wrist and not an animal. Her mouth was open and I let it fall slowly. "Come on babe." I knew she can't hear me but I felt the need to say it.

The baby Jerked in my arms, clawing at me, biting me, being what evil would be. She looked a lot like me. He hair was a dark brown, slight waves in it, her eyes were bright blue, and even had the cat eye slits in them like mine.
"Like mother like daughter," Adam whispered in my ear, bringing his arms around my stomach, which was huge and rounded. I starred at it, a gasp broken free from my lips, and I dropped the baby, who screamed in terror. I pushed Adam away, who said "that's not how a mother acts, Jess." I ran, the baby crawling after me, quickly...

I tried my best and she seemed to stop being so bad. She wasn't screaming which was a plus. I took out my old bandana I had stuffed in my pack from my old house. I wrapped it good and tied it tight holding it close to my body. "Best you can do for right now man. Keep her fed. Think that's what started this."
"No, me looking at her started this. Like Romeo and Juliet all over again but we're both dead, pretty much." I looked over my shoulder at him smiling and trying not to laugh. "Plus didn't kill any of her family." This has us both laughing for some reason.

The baby fell behind, the darkness taking over again and everything going silent to my ears. The breeze fell and I couldn't feel anything again. Hello? I whispered... Nothing came back, nothing was all around me...

She had been like that for so long. The baby was almost ready to come out. It hadn't been 8 months but I had a feeling that since we weren't technically human the timing would be different.
"How long?" Lyall asked. He would do that sometimes to try me to plan how to wake her up. "Almost two months, we can't keep moving her." I told him.
"I know." He patted my shoulder and went off to do who knows what.
