Torn Right Through

[Apollo]

I watched him get out of the back of my car. The door squeaked with age and I made sure he slammed it so it wouldn’t pop open later.
“Hey.” Vincent, said from the passenger window next to me. Sam bent low so we were eye level with him. “I know you’re not happy with this but we’re to old looking to pass as any kind of high-schooler. . .”
“And what? Thank the lord I’m close to lookin’ like a senior?” He snapped back.
“Samuel. . .”
I gripped the wheel a bit tighter, I moved my head, I gave him my look, The look that said I know and you know what you did was wrong now say you’re sorry.
“I’m sorry Vince.” He grumbled, but he smiled at Sam so he wasn’t mad.
“Just don’t think of this as time away.” Vince said to our younger brother, he ruffled the hair on top Sam’s head, the light brown messy short thing he had. “think of it as. . .”
“Practice for being on your own which you need to have.” I finished.
He nodded, He knew we were right but I knew he didn’t like it one bit. I knew he had tried to turn around again but we had already made it down the street and around the corner.
His first good size solo mission, I thought to myself as I kept driving.
It brought back memories of the past, so far back I didn’t even think them as memories but as dreams. . .

Jaiger walked down the street with his hands in the pockets of a trench coat. Every now and then its nice to come to normallity... He thought silently to himself as he breathed in the night air. Of course he was in human form, most people of these realms didn't understand his kind.
He knew that all to well, thats why he always walked alone.
He was off in a world all his, not paying much attention to his surroundings as he stepped out into the street, looking up at the stars, not hearing the sound of an approaching car.

[Apollo]

I couldn't help but shake this feeling that something was coming. Something big. Something that will chang it all. . . Before I could continue my thought process, I heard Vince shout, I'm guessing, my name. As I focused back on reality a man came into view.
There he was walking across the street like an idiot. I slammed my brake on my roadrunner and it came to a stop just hitting his shins, enough to possibly leave a bruise (she don't stop on a dime).
"Micheal! What were you doing? You always pay attention. . ."
"Later Vince, we gotta check on him." I got out of my car after turning it off, pocketing the keys and leaving the door open. "You alright man?"

Jaiger didn't move as the car approached, he turned his eyes towards it and watched as it stopped, barely clipping him. The people in the car would probably notice a rather abrupt stop in the last moment the car was in motion.
A young man stepped out of the car and Jaiger took a step back towards the sidewalk to get a better view of the person, "I'm quite alright young man," From Jaigers voice he was in his mid to late twenties.
His trench coat was of odd decor, the fine black material looked extremely soft, but not like any silk or vinyl from their world. It was high gloss but reflected no light, rather seemed to absorb the light from the headlights. Midlength hair was parted down the center, laying over a band with a strange insignia on his forehead, "I just.. wasn't paying attention." His accent was very unusual as well, not quite middle eastern. His voice was soft but seemed to hold a strong sense of power to it, making his words very alluring.

[Apollo]

Vince checked the car as I looked over the man that stood before me. His accent struck something deep inside me, like I should recognize it. I looked at him, he was out of plac more than me and my brother. "No it's my fault" I said. I rubbed the back of my dity blond hair. "I'm usally pretty good at that." Something is not right about this guy? More than his clothes. . . I thought to myself. I loked over at Vince, he gave me the thumbs up that my car was ok. I did the same to let him know the man was as well. "Well fi that's it then." I went to walk back to my car when a thought struck me. I turned back and in some language I didn't know I said to him, "You are not of this world Jaiger, why are you here?"

[Maliki]

The voice that Jaiger heard struck a nerve in his past. He released a deep throated growl that didn't sound human. He then remembered the other human there and took a step back onto the sidewalk, half circling the boy. "Well at first I was here because I needed a break from the wars... now I think I'm here for a different reason."

[Apollo]

When the growl came, I wanted to move and get ready for a fight, but my body wouldn't let me. I came out of the little trance-like state, shaking my head. "What was that about?" I muttered to myself. I looked at same at the back of my car trying to get in the trunk. "What are you doing?" I looked to where the man was but he had moved. "When did you get over there?"

[Maliki]

Jaiger gave a small smirk and peeked behind the boy, "Micheal is it?" Jaiger would give the young man a few moments to respond before he continued, "I think there is a conversation we should have, you and I. How often to things seem to just, change around you and everyone looks at you odd?"

[Apollo]

I didn't know what to think of that really. "Ummm. . . No this would be the first time." Was all I could really say. "Though I have had instances where I've felt like something was similiar to something else, although I had never seen it before, but that happens to everyone. . .though this doesn't."

[Maliki]

Jaiger raised an eyebrow, ~A new one?~ He thought to himself, slowly running his fingers through his groomed beard. ~Somehow, for a moment this boy knew who I was... And seemed to know why I was really here..~ He stood in silent though, silver eyes not moving from Micheal as he contemplated his words, "Tell me what you know about me."
