Default Possibly...

Alright, I know there are currently several games going on right now. For some reason though I want to start up my own again.

I am thinking WW, but it seems that all of those end up short for one reason or another.

More or less the idea I have is basically a large treasure hunt...a treasure of which is controlled by one who is planning to conquer the world. So more or less the group has to attempt to get close enough to get their goal...

Let me know if yall are willing to take on another game, also let me know if you want me to work it with the WW system or DnD. The idea more or less is capable of working easily in either. Pending on responces given Ill put up template sheet.

and to add, if you are willing and are wanting to discuss hwo you want to do it...group or what not, feel free to state that as well so people can create their characters accordingly, if they dont want to pull a current character they have created.

i can handle either WW and D&D, i'm more esperienced with the latter, but i can muddle through WW well enough. I would definitely play.

Alright, I decided to use the DnD system, but the WoD setting...shouldnt be too dificult to combine. The only thing is that there is really nothing for elves, so if you wanted such a character Id let one with a half elf template slide. I wont limit the selection of what all you want to be, since WoD has nearly everything...except elves...

Also I will say that being a sorcerror or a wizard would be a little more difficult but not completely restricted. Monsters are fine...a Half-Orc would basically be just a brute of a man...same for a half ogre....gargoyles or vampires or were creatures are acceptable as well. Any questions feel free to ask.

A concept is a concept...shouldnt be based on the lvl...but I figure probly somewhere between 8-12...

Like I said, its going to be WoD setting so a lvl 1 WW character is about as strong as a lvl 3 DnD character.

Once you come up with a concept, post it and Ill do the rolls for the initial stats, so yall can customize em. Keep in mind of things like computers and cars. You can have both Ride or Drive, and for things like drive the more dots mean the more types of vehicles you are competent in...one talent for automatic/two for manual/ three for semis/ four for motorcycles.....or whatever...feel free to make stuff up as long as it makes sense.

I'm game... but my question is this... if we get it started, what races are walking about in thisa setting? It's a brand new setting, but a system i know like the back of my hand. I was thinking of bringing in something from Rifts(tm), probably a borg, with none of his skills or anything... but a borg none the less. Could i do that? Give him D&D skills and stats, but I really want to play a borg. The built-in cpu and tactics system is the only bit I want. I'll be made out of whatever metal is most abundant, be it iron or gold... actually gld would be really funny... thieves could be constantly trying to steal me from the party. lol. Anyhow, it's up to you. This is just an idea.

I'll likely be some sort of were creature, either avian or feline, I know I am also going to be either the ninja or scout from complete adventurer. Specializeing in range if a scout, but in melee as a ninja...

hmm yeah a ninja werepanther could actualy be kinda fun....though his actual ocupation would probably be a cat burgaler...parden the unintentional pun.

What aspects of WoD are you including, Vampire and Werewolf, or can i pull some Changling out (that would be a good way to get an elf in), though i'm leaning towards a Satyr...

Basset are fine Cain....as for changeling, that would be quite interesting to play, the dreaming and chimerical creatures are always fun to work with. The WoD I am using is mainly the whole of it though not as much with Wraith, and the people who leave their bodies (I forget the name). But Mummy, Were-, Vamp, Mage,Changeling are mainly what I am baseing stuff around. If you want a satyr, I suggest using what is offered in DnD and than Ill tell you the twist on it for the setting.

Fox, I have not even heard of Rift, and how you descridbe a Borg to me it is either a cyborg or a mech unit. Cyborgs are cool, there is basically everything in WoD, it is a demented version of our own reality. A mech unit would be going a bit too far, reason being is that with me your background story has to be approved for such things, and seeing as how I dont know any one with a mech, ..

But yes, fashion your sheets in the DnD style, Ill say go with lvl 10 so yall can at least get to know what all skills yall would have. Just so yall know this wont be getting started until mid Janurary. Im still working on how Im gonna be tweaking the systems.

Ill put a character sheet template up by the end of this week, and the numbers for abilities (str/wis/ect) will be last. But those I find are minor in character creation, its the concept which matters most.
