yea, i didn't know what to put as a topic.
anyways, i was sitting at work, feeling like a cog in a conveyor belt, even though i wasn't actually doing any work. if i was working, i wouldn't be thinking, trust me.
but yea, i was sitting there thinking about the whole 'east meets west' deal. you know, what if the martial arts of the orient got put toe to toe with the gunslingers of the wild wild west? Bruce Lee vs Clint Eastwood. Van Damme vs Wyatt Earp. Chuck Norris vs . . . that guy from bonanza. (DUN DUH DUH DUN DUH DUH DUN DUH DUH DUN BOOONAAAAANZAAAAA)
hehe sorry, got carried away. but yea, i was thinking of a good ol RoL action type action, where the die by the sword mentality never died out, and six-shooters still had their honour. the name i came up with was "Samurais and Showdowns", but I was as much thinking about knights of the crusade and robin hood and all that as I was anything else.
My main enlightenment came from The Last Samurai (duh), but i recently watched 'The Vikings' (that ones before your time, dont worry), 'First Knight', 'Braveheart', and, well, lets just say i have over 50 cheesy kung fu movies. and as many good ones on top of that. and, i mean, come on, who hasn't seen a Clint Eastwood flick, or heard of Jesse James. Hell, even Shanghai Noon (my friend was in that movie, he was the indian boy, i tutored him before and after he filmed it, but he still failed math) just without the corny comedy crap. who am i kiddin, this is me. it'll be worse than cheesy. :rolleyes3
so, those who read my Hack'N'Slash vs puzzles deal, this is the hackin and slashing and shooting and, well, downright gratuitous violence. (Parental discretion advised, so if you're a parent, please be discreet).
any thoughts before my fingers run away on me?
