The reason I'm writting is because it was Ralenok's wishes to carry RoL forward (believe it or not it was in his will) to the next step. In order to do that, I need your help.

Since you people are the ones who are playing it mostly, I need to know what you think of it, what changes you would make, and what you like about the game. Certain organizations have expressed interest in this sytem over the summer, but I want to enhance the system before I bring it before them again.

So please let me know what you want to keep/change with the system.

I'm currently looking for the advanced rules that we had worked out which enabled a bunch of other cool things into the game, but I'm not sure where he left them.

So please post asap It's much apprecited. Also - if feedback taken from you is used to enhance the game, you will be listed as one of the associate game developers on it when it gets released into stores, in case that means anything to you

Well, i think the character concepts is well designed as you can choose and mold your character in any number of ways, but i think i like larrins addition where he says you cant start off with followers etc. I think it would be really cool to get the game published and a great tribute to him.

Are there specific combat rules etc, because we could playtest em probably and give some feedback on that too.

One of the few problems I've noticed is that of keeping up with the passage of time. Some provision for that would be a boon. One thing I hope will not be added is races. Set races would take away from the best part of the game: the freedom to make a charecter that is totaly uniuqe.

One adition wich might improve the system would be a more specific formula for the amount if drain casting a spell puts on the caster.

For exapmle, something like for every point giving to the spell, that is one hour (or whatever increment of time) that must pass till you may cast again. Then using a _______ (a component of some sort) would subtract X time from that.

These are just my thoughts. I hope they are of some use. I really hope this system works out, it would be a fitting tribute to Ralenok. (I know it's not his real name, but I think I speak for us all when I say he will allways be Ralenok in our hearts)

Thanks for the vote blade

I was wondering about the rules that were involved beyond character creation, all i've ever seen is the character creation, and i've just been winging the inter action when i've GMed, are there specifics for things like battle, negotioations.

Also, is there a set way to improve characters (ie, earning more xp to be put in other areas) i was thinking that characters won't want to be stuck at the same 'level' there entire game.

I see the benefits to RoL for online, but is it also meant for the real world??

Yeah, i think explaining the exp side would be good and allowing enhanced character creation, perhaps with a level system saying i dunno that u could add one point to an attribute etc per level or trade in all your exp for a new skill, if this is the case tho u would need large gaps between levels either that or lower the starting criteria to keep characters from becoming gods in a very short amount of time.

I also agree with Puck that a system for measuring time etc would be a good concept although you could just leave this to the GMs discreation.
