It's about something that happened in the first RPG that we ever had on this sight, the one Ralenock GMed. In a bar, a man started to cast a spell, but it misfired and, to make a long storry short, all hell seemed like it was about to break lose. Mysterious creatures resembling angels started evackuating the area and took away the caster. A pit opened and various fumes poured out, and we all waited with baited breath to see what would happen. But, Ralenock never got to finish that game...

So I was wondering, did any of you know what he had planned? I know this something minor, but that game is important to me, since it was the verry first I ever played and more imprtantly, it is something I did with Ralenock, wich makes it somethin speacial. So, just to satisfy my curiosity, does anybody know what was going to happen?

as that was happening, ralnok typed some of his inner dialogue ponderings on what he should do. i think he randomized wether or not the spell misfire, and when it did he debated wether or not he should have it misfire as per some rules. he decided on having it go terribly wrong. My bet is that it was a spell that was semi-poweful and when it went wrong it tore a whole into some dungeon dimension and basically all the devils etc were coming out to play. after that i can't immagine what was going through his mind.

From what i knew of him, which wasn't much, he had a flair for grandoise plots and scenarios. So, though I don't know what he had in store, i do know it was something far-reaching enough in his game world to bring everyone together into the same scenarios.

don't worry that'll probly do that...

most of my plots stink and I think I only like one I've made....

it takes place after a plage just hit and necromancy had been outlawed simply because people feared what would happen if ome mage got too powerful. And of course I did just that...

My only problem is I think I might have made the necro too powerful... That and I thought up a little idea i liked that actualy allowed himto raise more undead than your average necro and in effect raise an army... there is also another twist to the story that's hidden but I can't realy reveil it since De'Torian arrived and he's one of the people i've been trying to get to play in it, that is if I ever get it started again...

ralenok was the creator of the game rules of Realm of Life. The rules are here somewhere, but the game is long gone.
