Irony?

((this isn't meant to offend anybody who is afraid of needles or shots...i just thought i was kind of ironic))

An 18 y/o male walked into his doctor's office conversing with his girlfriend and signed in for his physical. BY the time everything was done and determined the doctor decided he needed to get a shot before he could leave. He acted as though it was no big deal...By the time the nurse had cleaned his arm and picked the needle up he was bawling his eyes out and clinging to his girlfriend. He kept syaing he was afraid of needles and shots. The best part of this to her was that he had tatoos covering his arms......Irony or not?

i thought it was histarical when the lady was prickign ym finger and she told me this. I told my eldest bro he's that guy's age and he looked at me like this guy had more problems then me....very rare to do

a guy i used to work with . . . he was a bouncer for 6 years, was training for UFC, and any time he had to go in for a blood test, all they would have to do was show him the needle and he'd faint

dead to the world for anywhere from 3 to 15 minutes.

Acctually it's not as uncommon as you think. When you get an injection, or they draw blood, it goes deep into your skin.. you can see the needle going deeper and deeper. Where as a tattoo, yes it's a needle, but here's the thing... it moves so fast you can't see it all that well, plus it's a miniscule penetration into the skin. I understand, it draws blood. Another thing is, it's not uncommon for the person getting a tattoo to pass out as well. I've had 5 and only got blurry vision on one when it passed over a benign tumor in my lower back. I love tattoos... If you saw the shoutbox tonight, I'm thinking of getting a scene on my upper leg.

when i become of apropriate age i want to get a few.....and i know this but i don't see why someone would be afraid....i mean i can get surrized and jumped but i can't be afraid.specially not of that..i mean there's gotta be somethign wrong with me...whenever i've had blood drawn or shots fer the past 5 years it either tickles or i can't feel it at all...cept that one time a the dumb nurse was shoving an iv in the wrong arm and trying to get it into the vein while keeping it in arm...
