Veleius: Alone

[Maliki]

-Veleius growled softly- "Serena..." -His scythe vanished as he turned and walked towards Reni, stopping infront of her-

"Yes Serena."
::Reni tilted her head to the side.::
"Though I think considering who the girl is she will be less cooperative with you. Good luck.....you'll need it."

[Maliki]

-Veleius smiled, wrapping his arms around her shoulders in a tight embrace- "Thank you Reni. But don't worry about the girl. I do not plan on entering her life... only protecting her from the shadows. Saving her from the same fate as Tera... It is what Tera would want."

"Just be careful Veleius. You are drawn to protect those of Tara. Yet you also have a history of failling head over heels in love with them."
::She kissed his cheek out of affection.::
"You are like a brother to me. I don't want to see you hurt again."

[Maliki]

-Veleius smiled and kissed her cheek softly- "Don't worry... I don't plan on getting that involved in her life."

"I bet that's what you said when you met me."
::Reni smiled slightly.::
"I really do love him Veleius. I think on some level I knew that thought I cared deeply for you I couldn't love you. There was just too much of me fighting it. But I love Spade."

[Maliki]

-Veleius nodded.- "I do love you. But be happy. Fates web is indeed tangled. I do not plan on involving myself in her life."

"Think of what you just said.....Fate's web is tangled."
::She smiled.::
"Promise to come visit. I miss you."

[Maliki]

-Veleius smiled- "I am not sure if I will have time... I must persue my job as Thanatos... I'll miss you as well."

"Do come Veleius. Even for a few minutes."
::She smiled and stepped back.::
"Now go on. You'' kave your hands full with the Lady Serena. You may have bitten off more than you can chew."
::She seemed to find this amusing and her eyes held a teasing look.::
