Veleius: Alone

-Veleius stood alone atop a moutain in some distant part of the wasteland. His scythe in hand, thoughts of ending his own life to remove himself from the throne of thanatos passing his mind. He had run his course. No possible way of retuning his love to him. His eyes closed, his deep black hair blowing in the wind, his hood was pulled back. He was exposed for the half beast he really was. Only one person had seen his face... and she had found another. His scythe gleamed in the moonlight. A single tear rode down his muzzle, he opened his eyes and looked up to the moon, drawing in a deep breath before releasing a resounding roar. Holding his scythe infront of him, blade turned towards his chest. He recited a slow prayer...-

"Don't you dare."
::Reni came from nowhere.::
"You can not abadon your post Veleius. Once long ago you told me that you had to go. It was your decision. Do not do what you are about to do. I would blame myself."

-Veleius sighed and lowered his scythe, tilting his head down another tear fell upon the earthen ground- "I have nothing left..."

"Don't make me feel bad Veleius. You left. We can't choose who we love. Spade was there when I needed him most. I think I had a part of Tara, because I needed it. i don't anymore. I have Spade."
::She gasped and closed her eyes. Her face contorted in pain.::

-Veleius shook his head- "No... I can't believe that..." -His eyes were still closed, he didn't see her, all he saw was Tera's face. He wanted to be with her. Even if it ment death. He raised the scythe once more. Reciting a prayer silently.-

::Tara was before him, or at least the part of her that was Reni was. Reni fell to the ground weakened. Tara had sensed that Veleius needed her and had seperated herself from Reni.::
T:"Veleius......love.....don't."

-Veleius shook his head- "Do not worry my love... soon I shall join you on the other side..." _His scythe touched his chest, but did not penetrait the skin, just rested, bladetip upopn his chest-

T:"I don't want you to."
::Tara smiled at him.::
T:"Death is not the answer you seek. Only a part of me was with Reni, 1/4 of my soul. I go now to join the other 1/4. You have the other half. Reni no longer needs me that much was true. I was never destined for her. I was to help her come to Spade. I did, now I go to the other part of me."

-Veleius shook his head- "I cannot settle for half.... to be happy.. I must have all of you. The only way I can do that is through death..."

T:"But I am not dead. The other part of me is very much alive."
::Tara's voice was fading.::
T:"Even now I am being pulled to it. If you do this you lose me anyway."
