The Next Threat

[Maliki]

Ryone was standing in his study, burried within some old draconian tome when he heard slamming on the castle door and the guards making some kind of a fuss. He sighed and shook his head, "A kings work is never done.." He closed the tome and placed it on the desk before he exited the room and began down the stairs towards the disturbance.

Earlier that Evening

It was a crash that had woke Bengal. Something had hit the ground outside, without hesitation the druid had grabbed his staff and went to the door. "Bengal run!" The order came from outside, and it was Maliki's voice. The door to the house flew open. Then.. nothing. He suddenly felt weightless, and a short period later a dull thud.

Minutes Prior

Maliki growled as he followed the creature through the sky. What was that thing? It was fast. Maliki rode the back of a roc, his own wings angled for the least possible resistance as the great bird carried him through the air. There it was again, Maliki brought his shield up just in the nick of time as something clashed with it. The clouds thundered and the wind tore at him as he struggled to see what, or who it was. Daerth in the air beside him suddenly crashed into him, "Lookout!" Something wizzed by them in the air and the great bird suddenly cried out in pain. Its body seeming to sieze up before it turned and fell. Plummeting down towards the wasteland when suddenly something seemed to crush the bird in midair. Its body suddenly became lifeless as it crashed into the forest. Daerth growled as something grabbed ahold of him and Maliki, He pushed his eldest brother away and turned in a flurry, suddenly bursting into flames his cloak molded to his body as fiery wings, his screach piercing into the night. Maliki folded his wings and dove as fast as possible, he landed on the ground near Bengals house, "Bengal Run!"

Ryone knocked lightly on the door to Faiths chambers, cracking it slightly, "Faith are you alright? There's a disturbance at the door."

[Natalia]

Natalia had been stationed oustide of Ryone's study. Her job was simple, she was to protect the castle and its King at all costs. However, she knew when it came down to it, Maliki and his brothers could protect Ryone and his assets far better than she ever could. That did not sway her in her focus though.

Being an only child and possessing the power to control all natural aspects of the earth Natalia was very cold when it came to communicating with others. She never laughed, smiled, or in anyway took her focus off of the King and the castle. Being an elf aided in this, she could go months without sleeping and see for miles ahead, far past anything the human eye could see. However, she had no real friends, and kept herself from ever getting close to anyone. She wouldn't let anything distract her.

Wearing tight black pants and black vest buttoned up, accompanied by black shoes, Natalia moved quickly to the door of the castle once she heard the guards making a fuss, and after hearing the pound.

She opened the door,

"What is going on here!?"

[Cain]

About two miles away now, traveling through the woodlands a grey shape trotted. It was a wolf, though this particualar one was definatly not your average wild animal, it wore a gold chain on it's neck much like a collar, with a gold medalion at the end, this medalon also had a ring cliped around it that caused a silver cressent moon shape to mold around part of it. In addition to this it wore two widefaced braclets, one gold one silver, on his fron paws and a leather harnest around his midsection. Connected to the harnest was something that almost looked like the uper halves of two spears only the heads were larger and wider and a chain connected them.
No this definately wasn't any ordinary wolf it was Talos Silverfang, adopted son of Cain Silverfang. With the current speed and heading of his quick trot, he would arive at the gates of the castle in about fifteen minutes.

[Tarsha]

::Faith turned her head and looked at her husband. Her eyes were glowing white a sure sign that she was using her powers.::
"I sense danger Ryone. Maliki......the others......something is wrong, very wrong."

[Maliki]

Daerth stood inside the castle door, over one shoulder he held Maliki, unconcious. And behind him on the floor lay Bengal.. or one would say. The bold white tiger was covered in blood, his eyes were open and with no focus, his body cold. Daerth fell to one knee, and laid Maliki on the floor, there was a horrific gash across Maliki's ribs, "Tell Ryone there is a problem." Daerth managed to get out before he fell forwards onto the floor unconcious himself.

[Cain]

Talos stoped a moment scenting at the air. Something wasn't right, there was a scent but it was faint from here...
He then suddenly started in a run continuing in his previous course.

[Natalia]

Natalia stood emotionless looking at the site before. She acted quickly and turned to the guards...

"Get them inside...now"

She turned around without waiting for them, and with a quickened pace made her way to Faith's door where Ryone stood

"My Lord, your brothers, they have been hurt badly in battle. You must come...now."

She stood in front of him cold and emotionless waiting for him to go.

[Maliki]

Ryone waisted no time. He rather lept off the balcony and landed in the hallway, running down to the frontdoor, "What the hell..." He looked and saw Bengal and his heart dropped, "Brother...." He growled. Then to the guards, "Get them to the infirmary." He began to walk towards the door before something grabbed his foot. It was Daerth, "Ryone, you don't know what your dealing with don't act in haste." The red tiger was now awake. His wounds seemed to heal almost instantly as he shook the fog from his head.

Ryone growled once again, "What happened Daerth." Daerth shook his head as he stood, "Lets get Maliki into the infirmary, I'll explain along the way." The guards were already moving the body of Bengal onto a stretcher. Another one already headed down the hallway for Maliki. Ryone didn't know why but this upset him drastically, "He's dead you fools get the one that needs help first!"

[Cain]

((OOC: don't get angree at me for skiping you Tarsha! *points at maliki* he sugested I do it! ))

Talos continued his rapid sprint, at this rate he would probably be there in a third of the time. He could definatly smell it now, it was still a good ways off but it was blood, someone or something had been wounded...

[Tarsha]

::Faith moved down the stairs and stood in the hallway. She watched saying not a word. Her eyes still glowed, and they were watching the brothers.::
"Veleius......"
::Her voice was faint yet Death himself would hear it and hear her call.::
