"A mother is what you say about Reni. She is a teacher, someone you feel a need to protect. But she is also something more. When you are hurt a Mother feels your pain and tends to your wounds. When you do something bad a Mother lets you know and though she hates it she reprimands you. Believe it or not Aunt Reni sees you as a son. I noticed it the first time she looked at you. It's the same way Mother looks at me."
