Paradise

New to the area known as waste-land, lily stumbles upon a place that is unknown to all. Lets call it Paradise a place full of tall trees of all kinds, at the far end a beach with waves crashing along the side of the cliffs. As Lily wanders the place she comes across a cabin that is not like any ordinary cabin it is the size of a mansion with so many rooms you could get lost within seconds of entering. In the first room Lily finds a mirror she walks over and glances at herself. A tall young woman with long reddish brown hair hangs over the shoulders a green cloak covers her figures but enhances her emerald green eyes. Lily pulls out the green apple from her cloak and takes a bite. WAlking to the otherside of the room she finds a stereo, she turns it on than sits on the bed to eat her apple. As the soft songs of old rock play lily takes off her cloak lays it on the bed and before she knew it she fell asleep.

The sleep however was not restful, she saw images of a man in black robes, with a mechanical arm and a long sword, doing some of the most vile things. She saw him ally with a dragon summoner, send herself and entire fleet into raze a town, then he swept in on a gigantic dragon lich, destroyed her and all her dragons, and proclaimed himself the hero.

She saw him battle gods, and steal from them devine essense merging it into himself to increase his own power, he killed indescriminatly, sometimes for fun, others for profit. it seemed always calculated though. He brought out the worst in those around them, caused them to persue there dark desires. She saw a man put a gun to his head, and shoot right in front of his family, with the black robed figure moving his hands like a puppeteer not to far off.

Vile and wicked was this demon wearing a mans guise, no human could or would do these things. Taboo's broken, lives destroyed, but his power constantly grew with the sacrifice, he seemed to draw energy from there pain, they're betrayal.

He spat at the gods, and created life, that lived in constant torment and suffereing, and did nothing for them, just left them to crawl around, for apparently no reason. He never showed any true compassion, the last thing she could see in her dream was a red rose blooming, which was soothing enough to keep her from waking.

Ronin walked into the cabin, the place was trying to lure him, and he was aware of it, but did nothing to try to stop it, he was curious to see where this lead him.

Then he saw a woman with reddish brown hair laying in a bed, asleep, his red robes pulled tight out of habit, sword by his side, he felt a glimpse of her dreams, and knew something was trying to twist the reighns of fate, trying to set him up for failure.....not the first time.

Throughout the horrid dream Lily stirred in her sleep trying to get rid of the evil that surrounded her, but none prevailed. Finally she layed at peace with nothing but an image of a rose. Lily woke minutes later to find a man standing in the room. Stunned she asks ' what are you doing here? ' Lily rises to her feet grabs her cloak and swings it around her shoulders than clasps the pins together. She looks up to meet the mans eyes. Something strange lingured within them. Lily stood there for a few minuts starring into them wondering who was this man that stood before her and why as he here.

Ronin smiled, and gave a slight bow before the lady. While bowing his gestures gave full view of his left arm, it was mechanical, all the way to the shoulder by the looks of it.

"I am Ronin Thornbloom, archmage of the Crimson Rose. I wander alot, and ended up here, by a mild form of compulsion. Besides in this barren land, fresh trees and cool water are a welcome change of scenery."

[Natalia]

Natalia had been looming about the mansion in the trees when she saw the lost girl wander into the house. No one had entered that house in ages. Only she did; she stumbled upon the mansion a few years earlier. With Camelot gone Natalia knew she could never return to her people and feel the same...so instead she decided to travel the woods on her own. She decided to make Paradise her new home.

The man she had heard of, there were stories about his acts, and the things he had done, but she was not one to judge for she herself was no saint...no one ever is.

Dressed in long black flowing pants with a matching black top she jumped down to the ground. The shirt hugged her every curve as the pants did until reaching the knee where they began to open more. Her lonng black hair blew in the direction of the wind and Natalia could feel a storm approaching, it was too early to tell whether it would hit or not.

She walked to the right side of the mansion, there was a door there. It creaked slightly as she opened it. She was enveloped in darkness, exculding one small ray of sunlight coming in. She was in a room adjacent to that of the one they were in.

Lily nodded to Ronin as he introduced himeslf " Nice to meet you, Im Lily, and i have to agree with you this place is rich of trees and its rather nice to be away..." Lily stopped in mid sentence when she heard a creak. She walked past Ronin and peered out in the great hall just in time to see the door across from theirs close. " Care to check it out with me? " Lily asked as she pulled out her daggers, and crept into the great hall. Looking up at him she says with a grin, " It's better tobe safe than sorry, I always say. "

Ronin had no interest in what was crawling around the mansion, he was more curious as to why this lady would so easily turn her back to him. She did have a dagger, and maybe that gave her comfort, who knows.

"Ladies first." Ronin said as he motioned towards the door, sure he would go, but go first on something that really didn't have his interest to begin with? he thought about casting a spell of abjuration on her to help protect her, but it would be much more amusing to see how she handles a situation if it got rough.

[Natalia]

Natalia backed into the shadows to remain unseen, she had not wanted herself to be seen yet. As the door opened she watched as they prepared to enter.

In a learing tone Natalia spoke not too loud but enough for herself to be heard...

"You know I'm in here...so come..."

Lily hears a soft voice speak but was unable to hear the words spoken as she creeps across the great hall's floor. Lily stops at the doorway and pokes her head in she senses someone in the shadows she moves forward and takes a stroll through the room her senses could be wrong fore she found no one. Lily put away her daggers, then looked up at Ronin " sorry, my mistake. There appears to be no one here. " Just as she said that out of the corner of her eye she spots Natalia in the shadows . Lily jumps to her feet, and says " show yourself, i wont harm you that is not my intention, i just want to know who you are and what is your purpose here. "

Jumpy little thing, Ronin thought to himself. He sighed and shook his head. taking a copper coin from his robe he rubbed on it, it begain to emit a small amount of light, the burst into an illusionary flame. He threw the coin into the room, and all the dark corners were lit. Leaving no shadows to hide in.

Upon seeing Natalia, he gave a slight formal bow. Smiling a little, he took a slight step back, to make Lily appear to step forward a little.
