Talking Memory of a Haunting Slaughter

Aya stood there calmly in the middle of the forest, thick trees surrounding her and seemingly trapping her within it's grip. She had been running for many hours, from what, who knew. Her arms and legs were scratched and cut from stray twigs and branches;specks of blood dances around her pale skin. Finally when she stopped, she couldn't run any furthar and she just collasped onto her knees. Her eyes were held wide and dialated. Tears hung from the edges, obviously she had been crying from the tightening of her skin that tears that run down.

Suddenly her head fell back and she looked to the sky. "WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO STAY WITH ME?!?! IT WASN'T MY FAULT!!" She screamed outloud before whiping her eyes and standing up. Memories... the screaming... the agony, pain and fear... the horrorific faces that seemed to follow her.... everything.

'It was your fault! It was all your fault!'

"NO!!" Aya screamed once more as she looked around for the cause of the voice, but that voice was only in her head. The voices of those that were slaughtered... The voices that belonged to the blood that was shed... by Aya's hand.

~The sky was dark and the stars in the sky stared, unblinking, at the earth's quiet sleep. The moon though... it seemed to be the color of blood. It seemed to know what was going to happen. It watched the scene unfold beneath it in the small village. A scream rose from the eerie silence that blanketed over the area. The scream cam from the horrorfied girl that stood before the bodies of the village men and women, not to mention the children and orphans that she once cared for and lived among. Her face shook as her fingers covered her mouth, that was covered the dark red blood of a human. Her clothes were tattered and teared what little was left was soaked in the sticky liquid. The girl though... she didn't remember what happened that night. She couldn't remember what happened, how she came there, and how she came to look like the way she did...~

Aya cringed at the memory and whiped her eyes as she walked forward back through the forest. The voices followed her, but she tried to pay no attention to them. After half an hour of walking, her legs were weak and her footing wasn't as stable as before. Her hand rested on a tree trunk as she tried to gain more stength to continue on.

OOC: I haven't been on for a while and well I thought I should make a good impression for my return and I hope you all are ok with me here. I always post a long start, and I tried to keep as small as I could. I would be grateful for anyone that would even read this^^

((OOC: and a good impression you have made.))

*Night had heard the screams from a distance, he was quite a distance away, but he had caused enough death in his life and decided, he must redeem himself, or atleast take a chance at it. after running for a good 15 minutes he saw the lone figure, he slowed and walked up to her. noticing the scratches and bleeding.*

"Was it you? Come, i believe we should get you cleaned up, there is a small village not far from here. you'll be safe there."

Aya shook her head and pushed him away as she stumbled onward towards a place that didn't exist anymore. Her eyes were red from tears and her cheeks were swollen slightly and burned from the open cuts that were exposed to the salt water that had poured from her eyes. She was slightly bitter to him, just by her actions, her voice was even more so.

"You don't have to do anything. I'm fine really. Just a few minor scratches." She said quietly to him as she stumbled to the ground and then struggled back up on weak legs. "So get the hell away from me."

She growled slightly, but just spit upon the ground, taking a few more steps through the forest. The dark sky was only the start of the night. Aya could tell that it was one of those summer nights, where the red moon shown.

"Go ahead, but I should warn you that I'm not going any where in particualar." She said calmly looking back at him. "And... you should really get away from me. If you don't, I won't be the one blamed for any injuries I cause you." She said it as if it was as easy as saying, 'How are you doing?'

He landed in a croutching position infront of Aya. He stood with his arms crossed.
" You did do it...But the best way to combat that memory is to embrace it, and accept that you've killed, death is merely a delusion, and you yourself must accept that death will creap up uppon you...Take it from someone who knows..."

The vision was red with anger and hate. A village in the distance was coming into view, a snarl crept through the memmory echoing. Several people began running, a hand crept across the vision line snatching a small child and soon the vision was dark, but the audio of growling, screaming, and the horrible sound of blood dripping. Soon the eyes open, a little girl laid on the ground, her arm torn off. Punture wounds in her neck, and her innerds hanging out of her mouth, laying in a pool of her own blood. Soon the vision advanced to a village woman being tackled from above. The eyes remained open as her head was suddenly torne back ripping her flesh appart sending fresh blood splurting into the center of the vision. Soon the vision was black again, but the sound of muscle tearing and breathing through liquid was heard. The vision opened again and now showed the image of a woman laying on a country road, her head laying beside her, and her neck torne to shreds from teeth. The vision faided out again to reveal Noin standing in a mirror, wide eyed, gently feeling his cheeks, then feeling the mirrior, blood smearing down the front of it, dripping till it fell off of the mirrior frame. Blood dripping from his jaw, muscle and tissue hanging from his mouth. Soon the full body mirror showed him falling to his knees, then the vision strayed to his hands where he watched the fresh carnage drip from his long nails and between his finger tips, then the vision flashed out.
"Ironically...I was a Doctor before I died.."
He sighed softly.
"Do you understand now? Embrace it, but repent for it by doing good deeds, soon the voices will stop..."

"I, am fine, you, are not. You need help. and you..."

*turns to the newcomer, and draws his sword, not as a threat, but a precation*

"...need to be careful the subjects you speak of in this forest."

She looked down at him and backed away from him slowly. "What are you talking about... you don't know anything..." She said quietly down at him as she looked up at the quickly darkening sky. She narrowed her eyes at the secret that was hidden in these nights and looked back down at the man in front of her. "So you heard me... but how could you know if it's really my fault or not? I didn't do anything on my own free will..." she said shaking her head at him and taking a step to the side as she looked aorund at the trees for a direct route out. When she found it she shook her head at the both of them. "If you know what's good for you, you both will stay away from me!!!" She screamed loudly as she made her way around them and ran as fast as she could through the thick forest on her already tired legs, just getting more cuts from the twigs and branches.

"Nothing... they know nothing..." She continued to tell herself as she waited. From the looks of the sky, the moon wouldn't be visable for another ten minutes. She collasped once again under a large tree and she sat there. She had gotten further from than she thought she would have been able and she hoped beyond hope that they had given up presuing her. "It's wasn't my fault... he's wrong... I'll never say it... never!" She said as she hid under the shadow of the tree. "It's not my fault... it's not... I don't even understand... what this is about..." She said sniffing lightly as she tried to suck it up. "One night... that's all it is..." She wispered quietly to herself as she looked around cautiously in case those two did decide to follow. Everyone these days were never what they seemed... she learned that the hard way, but she learned none the less and that all that matter to her.

Seconds seemed to pass like hours as she waited for the moon to raise... the first red moon of the summer nights. Minutes later the sky was dark and littered with bright stars as the red moon shone down at the ground. At that moment a shrill scream floated through the forest like a piercing knife through the heart of a banshee. It was obvious that it was the same girl as before, but it ended abruptly before just dragging on through the air like an eerie song.

Lydia had been roaming around the demon forest, sensing a great many spiritual presences here. She had thought that maybe she would be welcome here, but had come to find out quickly that it was the exact opposite. She sighed and had been about to leave when she saw Aya run by and stop just a short distance away. Lydia waited, trying to decide if she should go help the poor girl in any way she could, then that scream rippled through the forest and that decided her. She moved in Aya's direction.

"Hello? Are you alright?" she asked.

Aya began to laugh lowly at her as she crouched down on the floor. Her hair had become fray and hung down to her shoulders. "Oh... just fine..." Her voice was low and there was a strange aura about her. She stood up, keeping her head down to the ground as she turned to her. "Perfectly... fine..." She said as a wide smirk crossed her lips, hidden in the shadows. At her sides, her hands flexed and long nails rubbed against her thumb.
