Here to Make a Trade

[Caer Ibormeith]

The pack on the Trader's back was heavy and she nearly dropped it when she appeared on the road that led to Troll Spit. Her brother, and companion grabbed at the straps and steadied her, "careful," he whispered. He turned his orange-golden eyes up the the sign above the bar and uttered a short curse, "Where are we?"

"Here, I presume." She regained her footing and shifted the bag on her shoulders. "It's freezing out here and a hot drink would be nice...food too. Please, Taldwyn, let us rest here?" Her silver-blue eyes beseeched him, "It's not like there is anywhere we can really go this late anyway." She pulled her hood up over her copper hair, to ward against the cold outside.

"Alright, alright. We'll stay the night, maybe we can find a place to test some inventions of ours and maybe we'll make a trade or two." He ran a hand through his light blue hair, making the moonlight catch certain strands and turn them silver. The siblings were similar in the face but seemed to have stolen the others meant attributes, such as the color of the hair and eyes.

They walked into the bar warily and looked at the sign that caught their eyes. It was not a language they recognized.

[Cain]

Joe steped froward from behind the bar and gave a small bow of his head. Then with a grin he started speaking, as it seemed they spoke a language that was not Common many of the other bargowers might have been suprised as he started speaking the native language of the newcomers of the bar.
"Ah greetings and wellcome to Troll Spit Bar and Grill. What may I do for you today?"

[Caer Ibormeith]

"Ah, yes." Taldwyn stepped forward. "We were traveling and suddenly wound up here. We're Traders from Gallifrye and we need someplace to board for a while. We..." Taldwyn looked back at his sister, "We don't have any money, but we're skilled artisans--maybe we could make a trade? We need a place to stay for a while."

"I'm Kaelaia, and that's my brother, Taldwyn. Please say you have somewhere we could rest for a while...and some hot food?" She shivered, the cold had soaked through to her skin. The lamplight caught hold of her luminescent eyes, they glittered like stars.

[Cain]

((OOC: Not exactly the types of names one expects from Gallifrye. One would expect something more like the Doctor, or the Master.))

Joe considered a moment.
"Bring what you have, I supose I can take a look. It wouldn't be the first time I sold services of this establishment at barter."

OOC ah, a learned man. lol. i spelled it in a way that it would be similar and yet pronounced completely different...why? i had no idea what to name the place and i was watching Doctor Who.

"We have a wide arrangement of items, is there any specific thing you're looking for or should we should you everything we happen to have with us?" Kaelaia set her large pack down slowly, so not to hurt anything inside.

[Cain]

Joe thought for a moment.
"Well, I honestly don't know what I might want or need, but that doesn't mean I won't want or need it. I suppose you might as well show me the whole lot."

[Caer Ibormeith]

"Everything it is then," Kaelaia looked at her brother and he set down his pack too.

Taldwyn opened his pack and carefully pulled out a bundle of cloth and gently placed it on the table near them. "While traveling we found this. The people who made it called it Kameolani, which translates into chameleon cloth." The cloth had turned the color of the table, it wasn't an exact match, but it was pretty close.

To follow the cloth was a fine wooden box that had many pieces of exquisite jewelry, each seeming finer than the last. Unlike the cloth, none seemed to have any odd effects about them, but any magic user could easily store extra power within the jems.

Kaelaia pulled out a few weapons from her bag, and much to her surprise they disappeared...and reappeared on the wall where a smattering of other weapons were. "Oh!" she looked over to the wall, "what an interesting enchanment."

[Cain]

Joe noded puting on his mask then picking up one of the plainer rings.
"It is isn't it? I have been studying it for a bit. Unfortunatly I never met the man who cast it, he was a preveous owner."
After holding the ring close to his eye a moment he put it down then picked up the cloth examining it in the same fashion.

[Caer Ibormeith]

"I guess you'll have to go over there to look at them. Are you able to take them down?" Kaelaia noticed the arena and wondered if they would have to bring the weapons there to show or not.

Taldwyn sat down and pulled out a glove-like accessory and a few tools and a packet of dainty rings of metal. He hooked them together thoughtfully, the different colors of the metal making designs in the work itself.

[Cain]

Joe turned to started examining the 'accessory'.
"I could if I wanted to, though I'm not so interested in them. One can only do so much with a weapon."
