Sunset

[Cain]

Alphonse sighed as he looked over the cliff. There was a cool breeze today and as he looked back over his shoulder he could see the door back to the bar, although this exit in particular seemed to be embedded in the rock face of a mountain. He just shook his head, this place would never cease to amaze him. He had merely walked out of the same door he had entered only to come here instead. He wasn't complaining really, the view was spectacular, and the now setting sun only seemed to be enhancing it. Sitting down and taking off his cloak he rested his sheathed sword on his knees.
He had returned here to check on Joe's progress on helping him get home but the news wasn't great. The tests on the scorched clothing he had left behind weren't providing much information and it was slowing the rest of the process down too. Now Al couldn't help but feel a little homesick, something he hadn't had much time to do when training with the Silverfangs. Now however, the memories were all coming back.

[Klip Fourwinds]

Klip was on her way through the mountains and was preparing to stop for the night when she saw a figure ahead of her. Strange to run into a person out here She though to herself. But so it was. She approched the man with caution, although she doubted he was a threat, it was better safe than sorry. As she got closer she saw the familier door of the troll spit. "Hello there." She said to the stanger. "Its going to be getting a bit cold out her, the temperature drops quickly after sun set." She informed him. She hadn't had contact with people in some time, and small talk never was her strong point, but at least she was making an attempt.

[Cain]

"Hmmm?"
Al turned his head, his eyes caught and reflected the light of the setting sun. Even at this distance his unique qualities were quite apparent, that being he resembled a fox that had one day decided to be a man, or posibly the other way around. In either case he would have only stood about 4'10" if he stood at his full hight With his cloak off it could be seen he wore only shorts, sandles, and a loose shirt.
"Oh...don't worry about me, I'll be plenty warm...my coat has a bad habit of staying on when I wanna take it off..."
He tuged on the redish fur on one of his legs, his tail repositioning itself behind him.

[Klip Fourwinds]

Upon seeing the rest of his apperace klip understood. "I can see how that would be a problem." Klip said. "I tend to have the oppisite problem being mostly skin and bones." She was making reference to her slender build. Looking at her it was obvious that she had very little fat to keep her warm, soon she would be pulling her cloak out of her pack and pulling it over her. Luckly she had stumbled upon the bar, which would provide a much warmer bed than the mountainous ground would have. "I'm Klip by the way, it was probably rude of me not to introduce myself earlier..." She held out her hand to shake his. Despite her stuggles to make conversations, everything else about her pointed to royal upbringing: her manerisms and her stance as she approched Alphonse.

[Cain]

"Alphonse."
Unfortunatly, Al wasn't the type to reconise these types of things. The world he had come from lacked any magic what so ever, which was why he couldn't return now. If he returned there without haveing the magic removed from him the amount his body had absorbed would likely act like a nuclier bomb..only less predictable as it warped his world's physics. However, it was also due to that lack of magic that his world would seem more modern to those reading this story.
He seemed to be trying to smile without showing his teeth, he still wasn't fully used to this body.

mike was standing on a cliff above the entrance to the troll spit when he suddenly lost his footing falling a good 30 feet to land infront of alphonse
"ow ow ow ow"

Given the time Al had spent with the Silverfangs, Al was still fairly desencatized to others' pain.
He simply tilted his head.
"You ok?"

[Klip Fourwinds]

"Oh my," Klip said as mike fell in front of her, "That doesn't look like it felt to good.

mike got up on one knee and stared at the ground as a single tear fell from his face
"I SCRAPED MY KNEE do you think it felt GOOD"
mike got back up flinching slightly as he brushed the barely scraped knee on his left
mike looked to klip "do you have a bandaid or something"

Al just sat there a moment seeming to consider.
"You know what I hear really hurts? Having your elbow bend the wrong way... I can tell you from experience, its not a pritty sight either..."
