Birth of a Chimera

[Diana]

She looked at him confused and started massaging her forehead where a headache was forming.
"I don't understand. What's going on?"

[Maliki]

Daerth laughed softly, "All it good time m'lady." He responded softly, taking another sip of his tea he watched as the sun began to set in the horizon, "Lets just say that Daerth needed some help. So here I am." He smiled, tilting his head to look over at Diana.

[Cain]

Cain began diging out the person while at the same time he glanced back at Maliki and sent a mental message to him.
~Maliki, there is something you need to know, its about Bengal, he's come back, but he's returned with a few unwanted companions.~

[Diana]

"Needed help with what?"
She started to take steps back away from him. She didn't trust this stranger. She didn't trust Daerth either, at least not completely.

[Maliki]

The chimera lauged softly, sipping at his tea once more he watched the sun set, "The love of his life doesn't remember him. His brother recently died and they believe he's to blame. He though his best friend was dead," He reached down and patted the tigers head, "He thought Arianna was dead. His problems were just compounding. His soul cried out for help. And I responded."

~I know, Veleius told me, he visted purgatory and Bengals soul had checked out, and not to heaven or hell. But rather back to life.. or so he said.~ Maliki took a seat next to a tree and stretched. One of the citizens bringing him a glass of water, "Here you are sire." Maliki nodded, "Thank you."

[Cain]

~Did Veleius tell you who else was missing from the realms of the afterlife?~
Cain had reached the injured person and wascarring them out of the reckage.
~Sage and Alliance came back as well. They plan on coming after Ryone once they seperate from Bengal.~

[Diana]

"Arianna.......she is dead."
Flame wrapped her arms around herself and looked at him.
"I have to go."

[Maliki]

Daerth shook his head, "No, she isn't dead. Daerth gave up half of his life energy to keep her alive." He took a sip of his tea and looked up towards the woman, "You are the love of his life.. And he gave part of that life so Arianna could live.. so that you wouldn't hurt anymore." The white ribbons swirling around him began to lighten a little, "All I wanted was for you to be happy..." His voice was Daerths, but obvious traces of chimera remained."

Maliki growled, ~Alliance and Sage.. those two were hell to pay last time they were around..~ He sighed and shook his head, ~I thought Reni had convinced Alliance to let the past go and move on to the afterlife.. appearently he's found a new task. And Sage can only be back for one thing.. Ryone.~

[Diana]

The woman shook her head.
"I don't know him. My name is Flame. I've never met him......"
Flame had always had the most vivid dreams of the life of another woman. A woman that hadn't looked like her but had been so happy. After everything that had happened in her life, Flame figured the dreams were her way of seeking peace in sleep. But could they have been memories? She remembered a man, one named Daerth. The woman had loved him, Flame had felt that. She always caught just flashes of him, but the flashes she caught had often made her crave what the woman had with that man.
"No.....I'm not her. I can't be. She was weak and submissive. I'm none of those things. She had little control over her talents, I have mine controlled. She was just a dream.....he was just a dream. Arianna is dead. I held her cold body in my arms. She's dead. The dead can't come back. They can't. They stay buried beneath the earth where it is cold and dark. They can't claw their way out, they can't."
She was becoming hysterical. He was touching on Flame's first memory and it wasn't pleasant.

[Maliki]

The white ribbons flared back up suddenly before chimera spoke through Daerths voice, "She was strong because she knew love. And she'ld give anything to protect that. Such strength cannot be measured in talents for love is an unstoppable force. I was able to reside within Daerth's body because he gave half of his life force out of love for that child. To that child. That is why she still lives. The phoenix inside of Daerth, and your memories, can save the child." The sun had finally set. The white ribbons glowing and floating around Daerth gave of significant light.
