Hunting the Hunter

[Lilith]

Lilith titled her head.
"And what is contained in the journal that is so important?"

Allyria looked at Maliki. Her glowing blue eyes looked worried. Maliki knew Allyria felt no fear of most creatures. For her to know fear the creature had to have a lot of power.
"I would know Saoch anywhere. He's the closest I've ever come to dying. Trust me.....it's him. He's become stronger, a Primal Evil."
She shivered.

[Maliki]

Jaiger sighed and shook his head, "You ask too many questions. My fathers necklace is inside the journal as well as how the demon killed him. Will you take the deal or not?"

Maliki nodded, "Then we must assemble all of us." As Maliki spoke Synn shook his head slightly, Maliki had issued the calling. "The brothers will assemble at Ryones castle. Come, we must get going."

[Lilith]

She seemed to spend a few moments thinking on it. Then shrugged. She could always read the book when she picked it up.
"Sure."

Allyria had looked back towards the horizon. She didn't seem to hear Maliki anymore. She was focused on something only she could see or feel.

[Maliki]

Jaiger nodded, "Good, then come with me." He turned and walked out the door of the barracks into the world of darkness. A young boy came running over to him holding the reigns to two horses. "Its a short ride," He turned and handed Lilith a map, pointing to a certain chamber on in near the back of the tomb, "The book will be here."

Synn nodded towards Maliki, "I will go find those of us that I can." He turned and lept from the ground, opening his wings he took towards the sky,

Maliki nodded, "Saint is still with me. Meaning there are only eleven of us to gather." He looked towards Allyria, "We may need your power in this fight. Will you fight with me?" Maliki only needed save what life he could. As was before, the purpous of his existance was so others could exist.

[Lilith]

"No I can't."
When he looked back her eyes were violet once more. She was pulling against the leash.
"Maliki......He summons. I must go."

Allyria looked towards the sky and Synn. Then she turned to Maliki.
"I will fight with you.....and Synn."

[Maliki]

Jaiger shook his head, "You agreed to our deal. You do this and I will take you to Maliki. We can be there in ten minutes, you can have the book in my hands in seventeen and be to Maliki in twenty. Alot faster then you going there yourself."

Maliki turned towards Allyria, "We appreciate your help Ancient." Suddenly Maliki ducked, diving to the side he raised his paw and caught something that couldn't be seen by the natural eye. There was a deep laugh before a five foot tall white tiger with glowing yellow eyes fazed into view, the displacer beast, Shantu, his ten foot tentacles raised into the air then lowered to wrap around his torso. "Aware as ever Maliki."

Maliki laughed, "Shantu, Its hard to believe that you were born from me." He walked to his brother and patted his head.

[Lilith]

She looked at him and shook her head. She had a part of Maliki's soul, like he had a part of hers. It was a compulsion she couldn't deny. It was almost painful to try.
"I can't......"
She looked at him, a plea in her eyes.
"The demon.....it's not in control right now. It won't help Maliki, and he needs me."

Allyria continued to look to where Synn had gone. Why did she find it annoying that he was able to leave without a backward glance? She shook her head. There was no time to examine these odd unwanted inclinations she had towards Maliki's brother. Saoch was her main concern. If he sensed her he would come for her. Simply because she'd thwarted him time and time again.

[Maliki]

Jaiger sighed and lowered his head, rubbing his eyes for a moment, "You might want to shield your eyes. Its going to be bright." He pulled a pair of sunglasses he had picked up in a normal city and put them on. "Remember. You can't get more then twenty feet away from me. And I'm not taking that cuff off until I get this job done." He placed his hand in the center of her chest. To her all she would see was ribbions of shadow that looked like thick dark smoke, swirling for an instant before it cleared into bright daylight, they stood infront of Maliki and Allyria. Jaiger turned and growled, drawing his sword he lept towards Shantu. He had displacer beasts in his kingdom, except they were evil. The dark king didn't know anything about Shantu, only that he was a displacer.

Shantu was all to quick to react to the sudden appearance of two people and one of them lunging towards him, his tentacles quickly unwound as the great cat faded from view and dived to the side. His razor tipped 'whips' shooting invisibly towards Jaiger only to be interupted on both ends by Maliki, stopping both Jaiger and Shantu, "THAT IS ENOUGH."

[Lilith]

Lilith moved and stood facing Jaiger in front of him. She rested a hand lightly on his chest.
"No Jaiger. He will not cause harm."
It was odds. It was almost like she was trying to soothe him.
"It's fine Maliki. Jaiger was taken by surprise that's all."

Allyria looked at Maliki.
"We must go. I can create a portal for us."

[Maliki]

Jaiger tilted his head towards Allyria and lifted an eyebrow, "I can get us there much faster, everyone touch eachother." He sheathed his sword and grabbed Liliths wrist, Shantu's tentacle wrapped around her other wrist, then one tentacle around Allyria and the other around Maliki. "Here we go." He'ld never phased with a displacer beast before.. this should be interesting. Again there was the same black smoke as before, Maliki, Allyria and Lilith stood in Ryones chambers. The bracelet on Liliths wrist had stopped glowing.

Maliki looked around, "What the hell?"
