Exile
Wilhelm Tivone, a young man, exiled from his home kingdom. He has traveled for days, somtimes by foot and other rare occasions by carriage. Finally, he sees what he hopes is a town or at least a settlement. His food rations were running low. Wilhelm surveyed the landscape around him, seeing nothing of real import he trudges onward with his hand on the handle of his sword, a gift from his late father. He made a mental note, ~Next time...don't wear a black trench coat when hiking through the sun.~ he wiped the sweat from his brow, his fingerless gloves soaking it in. He tried to keep his black hair in front of his face as he walked.

From the travelers side he heard a voice, the creature seemed to come from the sand, one of Malikis bloodline. A half tiger approached the young man, canteen outstretched, "Tis unsafe to travel these sands without water. " It was Bisin, the red brethren to Maliki. On his waist, Katal were clasped behind a sash. Sleeveless shirt and baggy silken pants were his attire. "Walk with me to Korin, there is food and drink, a settlement still faithful to common rule is what you trudge towards. If it is silver you need to find yourself without thirst then you may assist me in bringing this water from the oasis to the village." On the half animals shoulders stat three posts, upon which four gallons sat per post, totaling twelve, "The villagers would appreciate it, if you have the strength." Bisin offered one of the loads to the traveler with a single outstretched paw.

Wilhelm stared at the Tiger Man in something akin to amazement, "Uh...Yeah, sure. Thank you." he said, still somewhat stunned he took the load of water in both hands and slung it over his own shoulders. He walked with the humanoid tiger man...thing. Wilhelm's silver crucifix gave off a faint glow as he walked next to Bisin, though he appeared not to notice, "So...what are you? I do not mean to appear rude or ungrateful, the ways of this land are unknown to me. Um, would it be more proper to ask your name before conversation?" he asked uncertainly, sweat glistened on his forehead.

Bisin laughed in response to the question, "What am I?" He looked up and pondered for a moment as they walked, "By technical definition I would be the combination of a tiger, human male and dire eagle." He nodded affirmatively as he answered. He looked over towards the man, "And my name is Bisin, Bisin Omega of the royal family." He nodded to the traveler, "And you need not thank me, it is our pleasure to offer and hand to wanderers. Matter of fact thats what Maliki was when he founded this waste land many years ago."

Wilhelm walked beside Bisin towards the settlement in the distance, keeping his head slightly down in a vain attempt to keep the sun from his eyes, "Ah, I am Wilhelm Tivonte. I am the former Captain of the Holy Royal Guard in the Kingdom of Anthis, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." the young man said in what he judged to be a light friendly tone, though it would sound more like a dehydrated street beggar with a scratchy voice, "You say a man founded these wastes? How is that possible?" Wilhelm found it hard to believe that any sort of town or anything larger than the single settlement could be founded in a place which had such little recources. Unless this land had something of value about it that he could not have known of.
