Tarsha has decided in her infinite wisdom to take an active involvement in a portion of the site. So get ready ladies and gentlemen. In the words of the smilie on my signature, "Kneel Suckers!" And let me add to pray pray to god I'm lenient by the time i get to the punishment portion of this post.

So this topic is becoming redundant and annoying. I bet before I finish the next few sentences someone can already guess what I'm about to start yelling about. I mean seriously people how many times do I have to say not to do it? Do I have to encuiate each word? Maybe do a little dance? What do I have to do, what do I have to say to make you understand? We'll try this. I'll put it in big lettering for all of you. Maybe you just can't read this small print.

Okay now there is no reason you can't read that is there? It's in big enough lettering. I'm getting sick of this. I had to scroll through 4 pages of 3 people doing just this. I don't mind if you come on here and tell us that your wife had her wisdom teeth pulled and is grumpy. We can all express our sympathies and that's that. I don't even mind another user informing us of his return. Good for him. Welcome back.

What I mind is 3 users (you know who you are, you're the ones sitting here reading this and going ohhh shit i fucked up) carrying on a conversation in the shoutbox. We just got through saying a month ago not to do this. Larien spelled out each and every rule for you. Hell the thread is still in this forum. There is no excuse. Especially since you can do private shouts to users that none of the rest of us have to read. I mean come on. Private shouts people, admins not having to read it, happy Tarsha, YAY! I'm tired of mentioning the spamming of the shoutbox. So suffer the consequences.

As of now the following applies to the shoutbox.
1. All Moderators, Pk's, and Admins are to report to me any misuse of the shoutbox. This includes conversations and spam.
2. Offenders will not be able to post in said shoutbox for one month. Second offense gets a banning of 2 months. Third offense and you're done. No more shoutbox for you. 3 strikes and you're out. (I'm being lenient giving you three chances. Though considering how many times many of you have offended maybe I should issue immediate bannings.)
3. If the shoutbox continues to be misused by multiple offenders/majority of users I will have it removed and not allow DK to install any form of messaging system (other than pm's) for users to misuse. This will include any form of a DKD messenger or chat rooms.
4. This is your last and final warning. The admins will no longer make threads concerning the shoutbox. If you get reported you will receive a private message notifying you of your probation. There will be no appeal and no exceptions.

Now some of you maybe saying this isn't fair. Tarsha and Larien were spamming a few days ago. You know what we were. Not going to lie. But here is the difference. I was spamming shit trying to figure out some admin commands to use in the shoutbox. It's a new version. There is lots of new stuff we can do and somethings that went away. I was seeing what would work. I know now what I can do. I know how to punish you. So keep spamming people. Go ahead. I'm just going to love banning users from the shoutbox. It'll save me phone calls from Larien that end up with me pissed even more than I am right now. My a/c is busted for the third fucking time this month. It's 85 degress in my apartment and that's fucking hot. And I'm having to get on here and deal with something that all of you know to not do. So guess what game over. Mean Tarsha Lady is back. Mean Tarsha Lady is pissed off. So please someone spam. I want to hit the ban button so bad right now. Give me a reason.

You are an and have been banned from the shoutbox. Thank you.

Wow, Tarsha definately bitched everyone out using smilies. Larien had nothing to do with this. And just in case someone doesn't know how to do secret shouts if you click on the users name in the shoutbox you'll see the screen change and there you can secret shout with someone. Don't talk shit about people or say anything inappropriate, we can see what you guys are typing so yeah..be nice.

I understand wanting to talk and all especially when old posters or long lost friends come back, but...yeah don't wanna read the whole convo. I'm good.

So yeah, people SPam and Tarsha finally decides to take an active Admin role concerning one aspect of the site...I love it...

this post might seem....pointless, but i just want to make my apology public, and to confirm with all the admins and pk's, i plan on respecting your wishes

It has come to my attention that some of you may not know how to do private shouts. Simply click on the person's name and it will take you to a different screen where you can type a shout to them. This will keep you out of trouble with the admins. We have to go to a special screen to view the private shouts and are inclined not to. I'd rather not know what you are saying.

If people want to have a conversation (and don't use an im for some reason) does it count as spamming if it's the weird window this-user-only SBing? You know *can't explain* when you click on their name and can shout to just them. That thing, Does it count?

If you are private shouting with a user it is not spamming. Hence, why it has been suggested. No one can see the private shouts except Admins and only if we want to. So for now you can hold conversations private shouting, but I don't know why you would really need to because most of the users on the site have MSN Messenger or some other messenger, so it makes more sense to me to use that then shouting back and forth in the SB.
