Hurricane Update

We haven't been home yet. But at the last minute it turned slightly so we got hit by the weak left side when it slammed into Galveston. And from what we're hearing our homes and the store aren't flooded. They've been breaking into grocery stores for beer and seem to not even try breaking into the store. We'll be without power for at least awhile. We have to assess the damage, start repairs, and catch up on work. I could be missing for awhile. Hopefully I'll see all of you soon.

We're just glad that you're safe. Thank you for letting us know that you escaped. The damage done to your homes and stores is repairable, a lost life isn't.

So we're home. Been home since Sunday. Supposedly we won't have power for a month at the house. We're living off a generator, and all of the crews are focusing on Houston first.Probably b/c they'd be getting bad media if they don't get them up quickly. The crews that normally work this area are in Houston. Meanwhile we have to keep postponing school and living off generators b/c we'd actually go buy one. My parent's store has power but the internet is currently down and the power sometimes flickers off then on for no reason. I've already informed Larien of my situation as it stands right now. I have access to my account and I can get on if she needs me. At least none of our homes were damaged and we're all safe. Will keep you updated. Bye for now.
